I have no clue how the rights work but if I could choose a few cards I never use: Robin Yount, Gary Carter, Luis Aparicio and Orlando Cabrera.

That's true, just seems odd that they would pay for his rights and have fans begging for him and not even give him like a player program 95 or 96 card. But you're definitely right, they never officially said anything. I don’t think SDS said anything about Alomar per se but the fact that MLB exiled him and that they ommited him in the Daily Moment rewind spoke volumes.

I meant they omitted Alomar...he was the 1st month Daily Moment Boss and then when they released them all again, he was the only one missing....which is why I don't have his card Gaaaa!!!!!
I personally don't see why they would cancel Puckett because I don't think anything new came to light, but it seems like they did. Or maybe they just got annoyed at the Twitter babies complaining about not getting him and decided to punish them hahaha, who knows?

I still think this list and 50 others in the game is the reason we need some form of Squad battles and I hope mini seasons is that. What’s the point of 1000 cards when you only play regular CPU teams offline or full goad squads online. In a few hundred games over the years I’ve faced the guys you mentioned a handful of times at the most. Seems like so much effort and shine on cards to just sit in binders doing nothing

Curious what you mean about Squad Battles. I agree there are a lot of cards that won't make the Online God Squads although more will definitely be used offline. I do love seeing more legends that represent the whole history of baseball but there should be reasons to use more of these players, because you're absolutely right, so many of them just sit in binders.
I probably use more cards on a regular basis than the average player as it's my first year, I play mostly offline (only play BR online) and I love to change my rosters. I actually have 6 primary rosters (1 for each division) that I use regularly. That means I use 30 starting pitchers, 48 relievers, 48 position players and 30 bench guys with regularity ans I'm not even scratching the surface. Would love a reason to play even more of a variety.

I Like Scott, Catfish Hunter, Blyleven, Palmer and Cepeda, They can do away with all the FS and Prospect cards.

Don't worry, they won't. I actually started using Carter as a backup, doubles king.

Ones I wouldnt miss would be Schmidt, Kaline and Bench. Nothing against any of them as players but their swings are terrible in the game. It's a shame too because you could argue that schmidt is the best 3rd baseman of all time and Bench is the best catcher of all time.

I’m back! I kinda got tired of the game after the World Series but I started playing again recently so I could finish up the Griffey collection before 22 comes out.
Still haven’t unlocked Yount. He may not be in my lineup, but he’s forever in my heart. And pants.
