Played a bunch of CO-OP with friends yesterday.I just tried this on Xbox Series X with a buddy who is also on Series X, but the option to invite to game is grayed out, so it might only work like that for Playstation unfortunately.

This is absolutely ruining the game for me. I’m excited for Co-Op but can’t even get into a game because my teammate quits every time they aren’t captain or I can’t connect with the other team .
This is the tech test, not the full game. This mode was probably thrown together near the start of the development of 22 and is bare bones to what it knight be. They have said numerous times.es and in numerous places that you will be able to play with friends when the game comes out. For this test, this is how they designed it to do the test.
Absolutely zero chance that co-op was ‘thrown together’.

One of the goals of the tech test is to test the matchmaking function in co-op. If everyone in the tech test is playing with friends, that kind of defeats the purpose.

Everyone is quitting trying to play with friends. Haven’t played but maybe 3 games. Hard to test

But if you compare it to something that was literally ‘thrown together’ (like retro mode for example) you get a sense of how much work would have needed to go into the design, implementation and testing, just to get it to a state that it could be even remotely ready for public use.

I have had very little issues in Co-op. I have played probably 20+ games and all of those with friends and not random players. It has, from time to time, taken a few attempts to get into a game but only because everyone is repeatedly quitting. I absolutely love the mode and can't wait to play the DD version!

I havent tried coop in the test but my question is if i got a ps5 and another buddy has ps5 but a third has a switch will we be able to 3v3?

As of now come release day yes, unless something changes after feedback on the tech test
