Mic issue for co op voice chat

My mic icon during co op keeps blinking on and off

It is picking up ambient background noise. It doesn't affect anything, but hopefully they can tweak this to have to hit a certain volume level to have the graphic show up so it doesn't flicker all game.

I don't know about that because it keeps happening when my mic is off.

On ps5 I hit the Mic mute button on the controller to get it to stop blinking.

Happens to me on the Xbox. Even if my mic is muted it keeps flickering.
