I'm really hoping the angry hard core gamers that are not enjoying the tech test move on. So please, pretty please with sugar on top don't waste your money on the game. Let the TRASH players or what i like to call recreational players like myself enjoy the game. So take that $60 and buy a book I'd start with "What's Next after High School" by Juliet Murphy
This kid right here is what I like to call "a fanboy for billionaires and people who couldn't care less about you". People like him will defend the people who view their consumers as dollar signs instead of actual human beings. It's pathetic. Let me guess...you're a COD fan boy as well? Okay with paying for mediocre, unfinished games that are just made to take your money. I come from a time that when you booted up and played a game, that was it. No updates, nothing. It had to be complete when it shipped and when it wasn't, people just didn't play it. Developers make the games with the "oh I'll finish it later" mentality, but never actually do and move on to the next annual release because they know idiots like you will still buy it.
Um........ you have been buying them to up to this point.
On top of the fact this is the laziest excuse possible. This game is the only mainstream MLB game that has any type of production value nowadays (production value is stretching it) so if I (an ACTUAL baseball fan) wants to play a baseball game on a game system...this is the only plausible choice. That's called a monopoly and it's actually pretty illegal, but nowadays apparently people forgot or if they didn't, they just don't care. They'll just defend the billionaires.
It's not a lazy excuse, you specifically said developers make unfinished games because they know idiots will still buy them. Why are other people who buy it idiots, but you who also buy it is not?
Also it's not illegal, see major league baseball.
You're a [censored] moron. There's college baseball, Korean league, Japanese league, Mexican league, Dominican league, among MANY others all over the world. If someone wants to play baseball they don't NEED to play in MLB. That's not a monopoly.
Bringing up foreign leagues is not a good argument, because U.S laws don't extend to other countries. And you can only play college baseball when you are in college.
And I wasn't referring to the mere act of playing baseball.

Actually most of the time I don't. 17, 18, 19 I did not purchase. I downloaded them off of my friend. So jokes on your [censored].
So your friend is an idiot then?
Also congrats, since you didn't put 20 or 21 there, you've only been an idiot two years then.
Bought 20 for $20 halfway through the year. 21 was the only one I paid for, because I had my own personal goals for the game last year. Once again though, not one person has provided an actual cohesive argument as to why they DON'T want the game to reward good swings and not reward people who completely miss the ball, rather they're getting salty because they're the idiots I'm referring to and they take it personally lol.
Seems you try to bring points across, and then duck on stuff you can't/won't answer.
So I'll ask again. It's not a lazy excuse, you specifically said developers make unfinished games because they know idiots will still buy them. Why are other people who buy it idiots, but you who also buy it is not?
Because I will not buy on hype at the beginning of the year. I buy it when it's on sale and I'm craving playing a baseball game, once again, because it is the ONLY AAA baseball title in the world at the moment, so there's no other choice to buy it. I call the idiots idiots because they're the ones lining up every release to buy the collectors edition with no questions asked. There's a HUGE difference between the 2. Genuinely not my fault people are too stupid to see that.

Lmfao of course. When I bring up a point of there being more than one baseball league and a choice for people to go to said leagues regardless of it being a player or another job in the game. That's not a [censored] monopoly. The only way MLB the Show isn't is if we consider other sports games in the scenario, which is a HUGE stretch.

Let me explain it slowly.....
Major League Baseball is exempt from the anti-trust act, having leagues in other countries where U.S. law doesn't apply isn't proof against a monopoly. I can really tell on your lack of economics here.
When Standard Gas and Oil was busted as a monopoly back in the day, this may shock you but in other parts of the world, there were other gas and oil companies! So does that mean Standard gas and oil wasn't a monopoly in the United States?

I will go ahead with my moral superiority. Because I am not influenced by dumb people. I am confident in what I am asking for which is for a hitting engine that ACTUALLY works, whether or not I buy the game at release doesn't matter, because I know the game inside AND out. People like you who are focusing on me insulting their one track minds instead of the problems of the actual game itself that I brought up earlier are the issue with the game and the mentality of the world as a whole at the moment. It's truly and honestly pathetic.

Oh my god...I give up with you morons. We were talking about MLB the Show being a monopoly. Not MLB. Has nothing to do with anything.
If we were only talking about MLBTS and not MLB in terms of monopoly, why would you randomly bring up some foreign leagues? Unless of course you were talking about MLB's monopoly or lack there of to.

Oh my god...I give up with you morons. We were talking about MLB the Show being a monopoly. Not MLB. Has nothing to do with anything.
If we were only talking about MLBTS and not MLB in terms of monopoly, why would you randomly bring up some foreign leagues? Unless of course you were talking about MLB's monopoly or lack there of.
Because you brought up MLB being a monopoly.......................and it's just not. I didn't even mention the independent leagues in the United States................loo
So there, it was brought up and we were talking about it, so why did you just say
"We were talking about MLB the Show being a monopoly. Not MLB. Has nothing to do with anything."

I'm getting confused here!
I am not the one who brought up MLB but that shows you didn't read anything, but okay.
I didn't say you brought it up, please point out where I said that.
Do you need me to zoom in on what you said?""We were talking about MLB the Show being a monopoly. Not MLB. Has nothing to do with anything.""
Talking, you used the word talking, when clearly we both had talked about it
Wow. You really are a special kind of [censored]. If I did not bring up the MLB and YOU did, you're the one completely changing the subject and me, being smarter than you called you out on your [censored]. Now instead of taking the L like a man you will beat around the bush just to try and find a foothold back in the argument. MLB is not a monopoly. MLBTS is a monopoly. Easy as that.
Easy as that huh? Must be nice just declaring something without providing any evidence why
Do I need to circle back to my Standard Oil example or have you already conveniently ignored it?
You brought up monopoly's first, specifically about MLBTS and how it's illegal, so a natural conversation would go towards, hey MLB is actually a monopoly and it's totally cool with the government who gave them a special exemption.
Also lol, I know I'm gaining nothing by saying all this, because your head is probably bigger then all those annoying billionaires (side note I really mean that towards billionaires, screw you MLB owners!) and that's why you are probably to blind to see, but it is giving me a chuckle
MLB IS NOT A MONOPOLY YOU [censored] MORON. American Association of Professional Baseball.
Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
Empire Professional Baseball League.
Frontier League.
Pioneer League.
Pacific Association of Professional Baseball Clubs.
Pecos League.
United Shore Professional Baseball League. All American baseball leagues. Not a monopoly
MLBTS IS A [censored] MONOPOLY
List of actual baseball games
MLB the Show
Do you see how that works?
Those leagues are all but in name associated with MLB, MLB doesn't care about them existing because they can test out anything they want there. If any of them said no to MLB.... well.....
Are they though? Does MLB own them? No. Not a monopoly. Now stop grasping at straws and sit your [censored] down.
