Are pitch speeds down? It feels like I have more time to react now, I’m going up against Chapman and Degrom in the BP and still not a single 102mph fastball

Pitch speeds are way down. I feel like the ball/swinging mechanics have had a lot of work done to them under the hood. To me it almost feels like a different game.

I hope it plays the same online. I’m very intrigued about outlier, how come Chapman and Degrom topped at 101mph onlyn on a few occasions. Even with max confidence

I've noticed that too. Not only have a lot of the hitting animations changed (which is cool, they now feel more like their respective players with their own quirks), but I feel as if the hitting mechanics have changed, which I don't know if its a good or bad thing. I feel as if it'll be a hard game to hit it out with, because so far I've yet to make solid contact
