General question for everyone who plays this game

Generally curious why any of us post if we are never heard/ they don't care. They are almost turning into EA.. almost. My question is how many people love franchise modes in our sport games but stopped playing it for mlb the show because they never fixed anything broken with it after all these years? I feel like the mlb the show is trying to kill franchise mode every year and eventually will come out with a fact of "no one is playing that mode anymore" so they will kill it. Of course you will have less people playing it every year when you don't touch it and leave it as is year after year. I would pay a $5/month subscription to franchise mode if they actually fixed the major issues with it. I am sorry it is an area you don't make money off of, but after this year, if you don't touch you, I am no longer buying this game when I always buy the most expensive versions you put out there. Of course I am just 1 person so you don't care but I was curious to know how many people used to play franchise mode and then gave up or still try it out. How many years did it take you to give up on it?

That would be me. I played a madden series on my channel and a Fifa series and I cannot stomach how bad those have gone downhill. All because of online gambling disguised as customized teams

I have been playing this game and on this forum (and the previous one) for many years. I have seen SDS respond to some suggestions that have been placed in this forum. I believe there are four main reasons why there are so many "unanswered" suggestions on this forum.
- There are just way too many suggestions on here to answer them all!
- Some suggestions are viewed as being not a high enough priority for them to respond to the suggestion.
- There are some suggestions that are not feasible either through coding or due to time constraints.
- The way some people communicate their "suggestions" on here is done in a manner that does not deserve the time and effort to respond to those "suggestions" and are better off just being ignored.

You are right on those points, but the Opening Post is very correct ever since they introduced Diamond Dynasty. The only new mode is Road to the World Series (or whatever it is called), and that came in at the expense of one I used...seasons mode.
Not time or thought (or very minimal) ever goes towards the Franchise mode.
Best baseball game ever, but there is no doubt it is focused toward the on-line players, who then whine, cheat and complain about servers.
I want:
*Customizable leagues (16 teams playing 154 games...if I want...whatever anyone wants as in a league tailored for you)*Customizable schedules
*The one thing no baseball game has ever had: realistic walks. The AI does not even try to get them (at any point). I get them and lead the league in walks, but they often swing so freely that late innings have 3-6 pitch innings because they walk up and swing for the fences, even when down five runs in the eighth...it is the only thing this game flat-out gets wrong!
*One extra Uniform Top for any made team (1 home, 1 road, and a third...can be only top, as that can be made to match bottom home/road)
*Any type of situation in which the CPU takes walks (both tries to do it, and makes my team's season total more than 173 while the rest of the league is 400+ at minimum, and usually up to 600 or so)
*Season Mode (40-man rosters only...not so detailed as to roster)
*World Baseball Classic
*Default sliders do not produce mass "HR:Run Scored" ratio; my team can hit HR's
*Adjustable manager sliders (such at LaRussa baseball back in the early 90's, or several other games that have had them previously)
*Did I mention walks?
I am not saying all of this, it would just be nice if one was added. Perhaps 1 a year. Instead, the only thing added during the PS4 stint was the condensed season thing that knocked "Seasons" off the game.
Very clearly, this game puts limited effort to improve franchise. It has now became a year-after-year thing, and is crushing when you see them putting other stuff in modes you wish were not in the game.

I was done with the Show 21 after I grinded the inning to get Eddie Murray. I was burned out, and realized all that game time in DD is kind of pointless when there's a Topps Now card that's better, online play not actually being competitive. Then I get deflated even more realizing that DD is a Live Service mode, that is basically null and void come April
So I go offline to play Franchise/RTTS etc. and realize the gameplay is very copy/paste.
Now I play randomly here and there online when my 7year old gets the itch to play.
So now I post on here when I'm bored at work because this forum is a mixture of two of my hobbies. Video Games and Baseball

I like to check-in every now-and-then because I'm waiting for the day when the real truth about this scam comes to light. The day when someone who works for EA or SDS or whoever, finally snaps and their morality kicks in and they expose this greedy racket that has ruined video games for the past decade+.
