Why do more people not use Corbin Burnes?

He's got decent enough hits/9, high control, meta pitches with a cutter and outlier sinker both of which can touch 100, and good off speed pitches. Why is he not used more?

He’s the #5 on my team and the pitcher I prob use the most offline

Imo he's not that hard to read. Arrieta and Kluber are both better sinkerball pitchers and easily obtainable now with the BR program.

While I personally think he is better then Arrieta, (at least on hof and above), I agree with @raesONE_PSN that his windup is easily readable

It’s funny, usually I get excited when someone is starting him against me but once in awhile a very good player can absolutely dot me to death with him.

Great for offline. Anyone from the stretch is perfect for grinding.

Yeah I've got them both. I use them in my rotation and not Burnes.

I’ll tell ya why I refuse to use him, cuz everyone else does! I’m fact, he’s on my “quit list”.

He is very easy to read IMO. That could be the main reason.

he suffers from the POTM card, since everynoe saw him then endlessely, and this card isnt massively differennt

He was used a ton when the team affinity came out. He's the most P5 finest card in the entire finest collection and it isn't even close. King Felix, Verlander, Nolan Ryan, Shoei Ohtani, and deGrom are the only 99 pitchers in the entire game who have more P5s and they've been out since like July.

I never faced him as an offline player, and don't want to online on HOF or higher! 🤪
His Finest card is great offline. Got him to P3. I keep him in my 'Daily Mission' rotation. -
His sinker doesn’t have enough depth and his cutter moves so much that it can be read pretty easily and is nothing more than a 100 mph slider with zero horizontal movement. That coupled with the fact that most people don’t know how to mix his pitches very well and you have a pitcher who won’t see much play at this point in the games cycle.

He's one of my favorite offline pitchers and I definitely use him in friendlies. I don't play RS much but the comments make sense for good hitters. I can't hit him to save my life but I'm not so good.
