Who do you have at SS?
-
Honus, best balanced option available and a perfect #8 hitter.
-
Real men use 94 overall Ripken because of how incredible his 1991 season was. The fact that SDS made a 10.6 fWAR season only a 94 overall is mind-boggling though. Regardless if it’s just an AS card or not, a card based on that season should be a 99.

You’re trying to make a joke, but zWAR is a real thing. It’s just the ZiPS projected WAR though, which obviously doesn’t apply to Ripken.

What? No zWAR is the combination of fWAR and rWAR. Its a statistic i created to end the rWAR / fWAR war.

I'm the only guy that uses him, which is good for me and bad for everyone I play. The true best SS in this game is Ernie Banks. He absolutely crushes it, his defense is top notch, he's the best. Nobody uses him, I suspect because he has low speed. But come on guys, how much speed do you need for a homerun trot?
Very few people use him. I almost have him P5'd and there are only like 1,000 other people at that level. Compare that to the garbage hitter Fernando Tatis, who probably has 44,000 P5's by now.
Ernie Banks is the answer you were looking for when you made this post.

Throw Chipper at short if anything. Plenty of good 3 baggers as well.
-
I have Prime Troy Polamalu.

I need to give Banks another chance. I loved his 94 card on my Old School team back during TA 2 and 3. For some reason I just couldn't hit with Awards card. But I will try again.

I had awards Trevor Story at P5 for the longest time. Dude is a stud. Then I used Larkin until I P5’d him. Now I have Rollins at P4. I think of the three Larkin was my favorite.

Larkin Rips is definitely a thing.

CAP/Ballplayer is still the best option. Honus aside from that if you don't do well with Tatis. I also love Crawford but his range is a bit slow for me. I prefer him at 3.

You wont regret it! I just used him on a whim really, having struggled mostly with Banks cards in the past. This awards one though hit for me, and kept hitting and kept hitting. Hes not my most dangerous bat but hes rock solid. Low sinkers are his specialty - he gets enough lift to take those yard.
-
Still using Rollins. Hes amazing defensively, extremely fast, switch hitter, and is solid enough in both contact and power.

Yea I know it is kinda late in the year, but occasionally a RS game is fun. I tried Tatis but I am so awful with him. I play Turner there.
Seager - his range is limited but he rakes

Put him at 3B, imo he's the best third baseman in the game.

I have Chipper there and IMO Seager is better at SS

Ah okay can't go wrong there I guess. I love Chipper too but I feel like at this point in the game there are better options available, especially because the meta is right handed pitching and that's where Chipper is kinda subpar.
