This is the year of the pitcher like never before it seems like. It is far too easy to paint corners and edges consistently, and there are so many players who can’t hit a lick as a result of this. Walk rates are at all time lows. Control needs to be reduced. As does velocity… no pitcher fires off 70 fastballs at 101-102 a game. Pitching needs to be more realistic, as does hitting.

I'm guessing youre new to the party. Welcome to The Show 21.
We've all said this for a while now. Game is too far gone at this point. Got guys throwing 103mph dotting the corner consistently even after 6-7 innings of fatigue lol

I've never seen 103, not once. But point taken.

I'm not a great hitter at all and will never make WS in RS, so I agree that pitching is overpowered for many/most gamers.

I'll say again: outliers should be a separate pitch that can only be used sparingly, or with a significant control penalty.

The one thing I DON'T want to see is perfectly executed offspeed pitches being hung randomly. That's a competitive player's nightmare.

Yeah I agree. Pinpoint was a step in the right direction, but obviously needs a few tweaks. All we asked for was for the pitches that warped down the middle to be gone, they just took it a little too far imo.

You know, the funny thing is, I almost never seem to throw a ball when I mess up my input. It seems to generally be a hung pitch in the middle, or so far inside, it’s a hit batter. Hmmm.
