Founders club event coming soon
-
On the schedule it says two part founders club event and signature legend and classic finest as rewards
-
Sig Puckett and finest smoltzy
-
Has Finest been around long enough for Smoltz to have one? Or is that just a plea for made up Finest like the Trout? Either way, that would be cool.
But my guess is it'll be like the Machado card. And I'm gonna guess Killebrew.
-
The Classic Finest will be a Finest from one of the previous year's sets.
-
Kirby Puckett really deserves a 99 overall. In The Show 19 they put out a SS Gossage very late. It was through an event.
Oh, where is Tino Martinez?! -
Let's see, what is the list we keep throwing out there?
Tino Martinez
Kirby Puckett
Harmon Killebrew
Andruw Jones
Warren Spahn
Don Sutton
Juan Marichal
Ron Guidry
Shane Victorino
Jack Morris
John Smoltz (SP)- maybe
Ryne Sandberg 99 - maybeIt's dwindling but there are still some big names.

Smoltz was long gone before the Finest cards were in The Show! The Finest was introduced in MLB the Show 17 and have been in every game since. 2018 was the first year with attributes over 99, so any 2017 Finest would need some attribute changes to bring it up to the new standards. 2018 Finest cards were nerfed a bit as to not make them better than the Immortals, so those wouldn't be great right now unless they give them a good boost.
Only ones I could think of that would be decent reward from 2019 Finest would be Bregman and Bellinger. Bellinger already has a 99 Award series in this game and Bregman has a 98 Award series. 2020 Had a lot of great Finest cards like Machado, Soto, and Cruz. Manny's 2020 Finest has already returned in this game, Soto has 2021 Finest, Nellie's best card is a 2021 ASG rated at 97. So, I'm thinking a 19 Finest Bregman or a 20 Finest Cruz as being the best options for a classic Finest hitters worthy of a reward card. As far as pitchers, easily 2020 Finest Bauer (his best and only card is the LS card at 89), 2020 Finest Hendriks (best card is a 2021 ASG at 96), 2020 Finest Devin Williams (August POTM at 97), and none really from 2019.

Dang, I knew we had another Show historian on our hands, but this is next level. Ps: your icon changed, it threw me off. Hoping we see a lot more of the Mariners this year.
Thanks for this. It's my first season so I know nothing of classic cards..
-
Sig legend could be any of the remaining legends without a card other than Victorino and Morris probably.
I'm sick of classic finest cards too. There aren't any good enough to be worth taking the place of one of said legends frankly. Bregman won't be enough if an improvement over his awards card, 18 Jram is practically the same as his allstar card, and the rest are pitchers -

Bringing back 2020 Cruz would be the biggest L possible at this point.

Marcel Ozuna and Chad Green are two Finest players from 2017 that don’t have super-megs cards in 21.
18’s been picked pretty clean.
19, none of the Finest players lacking max cards (Matthew Boyd? Yaz jr?) really inspire.

Tino Martinez
Kirby Puckett
Harmon Killebrew
Andruw Jones
Warren Spahn
Don Sutton
Juan Marichal
Ron Guidry
Shane Victorino
Jack Morris
John Smoltz (SP)- maybe
Ryne Sandberg 99 - maybeIt's dwindling but there are still some big names.
What’s funny is that some people said they didn’t have the rights to Al Kaline this year and then he got an awards card. So I’d throw Cobb in that list too just to see
-
I can see the following possibilities
Josh Hader - 2019
Ronald Acuna - 2019 (although he has a 99 already this would not surprise me)
Alex Bregman - 2019
Xander Bogaerts - 2019
Katel Marte - 2019
Jose Ramirez - 2018
Nick Anderson - 2020
Lance Lynn - 2020
and the one i'm hopping for - Brad Hand 2020 -

No one said they didn't have the rights to Kaline. He was available in franchise rosters all year. He just didn't have a DD card. Cobb isn't in franchise

Never mind, apparently I can't read, carry on lol.

SDS’s treatment of Puckett cards makes me less likely to play next year.
-
2020 finest i'd like Jose Ramirez, pretty much any of the relievers especially Brad Hand, Devin Williams, Anderson. But Trevor Story would be my hope, however unlikely that is

I loved it in 19 and paid 1 million stubs for him in last year’s game. Yes. I liked his card better than 99 Chipper, and I am not an Astros fan or a Bregman fan either; I just was able to smash with the card and his defense is good too. His Award card is not nearly as good as the Finest. I wouldn’t mind the Bellinger from that year as well; but I doubt he will get another 99.card.
Edit: Last year’s Finest Bauer was great, and unfortunately I doubt we will see him
