Usually I'll do 1 position at a time but in a world where Mookie Betts plays 2B, Chipper plays LF and Kyle Schwarber plays C, might as well lump outfielders together. If you feel like breaking it down by primary position, be my guest...if you wanna list only 3, 5, 6, 10, 146....primary, secondary, fifth-dary, whatever your heart tells you.

Haha, sorry, I might be a tad hungover.

Ok, best outfielders in the show.

I'll give my top 10 in nor order:

    1. Christian Yelich
    2. Mookie Betts
    3. Mickey Mantle
    4. Ken Griffey Jr.
    5. Willie Mays
    6. Kike Hernandez
    7. Vlad Guerrero Sr.
    8. Tyler O'Neil
    9. Tony Gwynn
    10. Eddie Rosario

I must admit, I still haven't used Trout, any of the program Finest and am basing this off of my experience. I'm switching out my rosters and will most likely have a different list soon.

Special shutout to Ralph Kiner for raking but being way to slow to make this list. Same with Al Kaline.

    1. Ken Griffey Jr
    2. Eric Davis
    3. Tyler O'Neil
    4. Cody Bellinger (usually at 1st)
    5. Christian Yelich
    6. Larry Walker/Bryce Harper
    7. Micky Mantle
    8. Rickey Henderson (weak arm but it's Ricky!)
    9. David Justice (bad defense but excellent bat)
    10. Brandon Nimmo/Starling Marte (tied)

You know my thoughts on Trout.
Kenny Lofton is an excellent fielder but I'm still working on batting with him.

Wow surprised no one's list has The Babe. I would say Mantle, Griffey, Ruth, Trout, Aaron, Betts, Harper, Ketel Marte, Eddie Rosario, Vlad Sr.

For me the top 3 is Trout, Griffey and Vlad Sr. I think many will say Mantle instead of Vlad, but Vlad holds his own just fine on defense and his swing is lightyears better than Mantle's.

I’m really interested in trying that new Lofton. You really think he’s up there with the best?

He's awesome but don't expect to hit a ton of homeruns. His only real weakness is his arm but he can get to any ball before it hits the ground.

Do you think he’s better suited for LF?

    Tucker
    Trout
    Mantle
    Mays
    Clemente
    Rosario (Postseason)
    Winker
    Soto
    Vlade Sr
    Reynolds

Special mention Ruth but I don't like using him in the field

All other outfielders I haven't played with them enough or I just didn't find any success with them.

    Trout (Finest)
    Ken Griffey JR (Milestone)
    Harper (MVP)
    Yellich (Milestone)
    Walker (MVP)
    Mantle (Signiture)
    Guerrero Sr (Signature)
    Ruth (Signature)
    Bellinger (MVP)
Tucker (Finest) / Reggie Jackson (Milestone)

Havn't had enough at bats but he is crushing the ball for me to start so he gets honorable mention.

    Lofton (Awards)

I really need to give Reggie a chance. I hit really well with his gold and 95 💎.

Also, I am such a stat junkie that I am reluctant to start new players (I want to keep building the ones who have been in my lineup for a while) which is really stupid since trying out new players is a ton of fun.

With that said, Tucker, Trout, Lofton, and a bunch of the other "newer" players are just sitting in my collections ready to be played.

Oh, good call with Larry Walker. He is incredibly under-appreciated and has great all around attributes including solid speed. Love him in right or off the bench.
