Agreed it should be a bit higher.

    But not much.

If this Milestone card is based solely on Bagwells first 30 30 season (1997), Bagwell hit only .286 which was one of his lower BA seasons in his prime.

    Still solid though.

This exactly! They did the same with Bieber’s Triple Crown card. They gave all the Finest starters unreal pitch break and control and treated that incredible season ( yes, it was shortened) like a dirty rag

    Right?

Especially considering his FOF card last year was HEAVY contact (110+ Right/125 Left if i remember correctly)

I know there are many who don't care for Bagwell and don't like his swing....but there are a ton of us who do really like him and they did him REAL dirty this year. He's essentially not usable. I'd like to see what SDS has to say to justify the low ratings

They just picked the wrong season. The ratings are spot-on accurate for the season they chose

Based on his splits for 1997, his contact pretty much lines up with all the other 30/30 cards. They knew what the attributes would be and deliberately chose this version to be a player program because of how mediocre it is.

Whether or not their formula accurately depicts how good a season was is another question.
