Haven't tried him yet, but I built a new team with all my new 99s like Trout, Pujols, Bryce and Trea Finest and others and am going to use then to grind the maps I still have from TA5.

I’m struggling with him against the cpu.

Hate to admit but he has been the best hitter for me so far… I play entirely offline for the most part so I can definitely tell the difference. Batting over .700 for me at P3 right now. No one has hit that good for me to date

He’s as good as you are able to make him, just as it is with every other 99. The “gamblers fallacy” makes many believe some are better or worse than their attributes, but that’s entirely mental. The reality is, if you square up a ball with any 99 hitters, you will have good outcomes over a large enough sample size. Obviously, a guy with 125 power is going to hit more good/early/late homers than a guy with 100 power, but made no doubt about it, if you are struggling with a player, it’s you that is struggling, not the player. If you are not convinced of this logic, think of it this way, there is someone playing this game using whatever player you think you are struggling with who is regularly ripping the cover off the ball with him.

I suck with all my hitters even though I’ve got a stacked team, when I get a hit, it’s mostly luck. Fortunately, many games can be won with 1-3 runs. So, Trout for me is hitting .215, pretty much my online team average. Offline isn’t real, I can hit .400, but never really facing good pitchers or tough pitching.

I'm like 265 avg. The thing is WHEN I make contact it's usually a bomb or a double so if you're dumb like me, you're just keep hitting away pitches and get frustrating ! Yay !

Took me several games to get going with him but online I'm hitting like.350 with him and like .450 offline.
