I have a 1440p monitor and I am wondering is switching to a bigger 4K monitor would help me seeing the ball better.

Honestly I think it’s all about the connection to your opponent in this game. Timing windows vary greatly depending on connection. Not sure clarity has much to do with ball speed assuming that’s your problem. I guess I’d worry more about the response time of your panel.

It's all about response time, when playing at higher resolution u will have a slower response time. If u want to be serious about playing online, get a gaming monitor. Trust me, I got on and it has made a HUGE difference

I have a 5 ms response monitor. Is there a pretty big difference with a 1 ms monitor. Thinking of upgrading soon

HUGE difference between those speeds. Upgrade, u won't regret it. And monitors are pretty cheap right now too

You cannot play at 1440p so you are playing at 1080p. Your monitor is just upscaling. And yes playing at 4k will help see the ball tremendously. I cannot go back to 1080 after using 4k. If playstation could do 1440p I would say use that, but it doesn't.
