What the heck

In the middle of doing Moments and I get kicked from the servers.
I exit the game and it tells me that I need to sign into PS+.
When I go in to PS+ and click sign in; it tells me that my email address and PW are incorrect.
I check my personal email and I have an email from Sony stating that the email address on my account has been change.
I NEVER changed it.
And of course, Sony is closed right now.

Someone said me the other on a madden forum they were hit although they had 2 way idk how true it was but hoping you're OK when it's all figured out maybe try a recovery or something

I tried PS support and was told by those stupid bots that I need to speak with a Live Agent.
I'll try again tomorrow.
What ticks me off is that I JUST renewed my PS+ a few days ago for a year.
All I know is if they can't recover this for me; I'm done with Sony.
I'll sell off my PS4 and the PS5 I just got the other day and will be done with gaming.
I had something like this happen with Amazon a few years back and it took FOREVER to get my money back.
I even had to involve the local police, the FBI, and a lawyer.
I just wish I could remember if I had any of my cc, or my bank card, attached to this account.
Guess I'm making other phone calls tomorrow.

Hopefully everything works out, had my account hacked a few months ago and had to deal with a live agent. Luckily the person was helpful and verified my account then fixed everything for me and got me refunds for the games the person bought. Good luck with getting everything fixed

To be sure, you should go take a look at your credit card activity online to see if there have been any recent charges that you didn’t make.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I got it fixed.
Talked with a Live Agent and was able to get the account back by verifying past purchases.
They also informed me that there wasn't any other purchases on the account.
I did however have to make a new email for the account.
Which brings me to a question that maybe someone from SDS can answer:
I am still able to post on here because I haven't tried to go into my acct. I'm assuming this account is not linked with my PS4 acct?
And I'd it is, how do I go about changing it to the new email address?
