Yeah, I don't see the connection other than, they are the oldest players. I'm not sure why they lost the rights to Cobb. Or maybe they decided he needed to be cancelled. I'm not sure why they lost Cobb but I doubt it has any bearing on Wagner or any other legend.

They arent even the oldest players. Cy Young or Christy Mathewson both started earlier than Cobb, and Walter Johnson was around the same timeframe.

Good call, I knew there were probably a few. I just don't see any other correlation between Cobb being removed and Wagner.

Oh I'm not saying he was nor do I mean to spark a debate. I have no clue why he's not in the game and though I'm all for Social Justice, I would love to Cobb as a player in the game. I shouldn't have tossed it out there as if I knew something because I have no clue why Cobb is gone. I'm new this year. Sorry I mentioned it, it was mostly intended as a bad joke.
Anyway, let's not go down that road, my bad for bringing it up. Back to your point, as far as I know, Wagner will be back. Perhaps somebody who knows more about how they obtain the rights to these players can answer the question but as far as I've heard, he'll be back.

If I am not mistaken, I believe Cobb and Horsnsby were two in the same as well as Ted Williams.....think I read somewhere that they couldn't strike a deal with the group that reps their likeness so thats why all 3 are not in this years game.
