PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE ... Allow SDS & Pete Rose to negotiate using his name & likeness for MLBTS 22. SDS adhears to MLB with all it's ban on players & is why they do NOT use banned players & as well if used before in previous years, they no longer do once that player is banned. Such as A-Rod, Betran, R. Alomar & F. Vasquez.

However NO Baseball game could be complete without being able to have & use the ALL TIME hit leader.

What he did while he was a Manager has NOTHING to do with what he did & accomplished as a Player. Just for his Career accomplishments & setting the ALL TIME hit record which will NEVER EVER be broken. He should be in the HOF. Just inducting him into the HOF for that alone is what is right for the sport & its fans. Just do NOT give him an actual Celebrated Ceremony due to what he did as a Manager. You are reconizing & acknowledging his accomplishments & Career as a Player & NOT as Pete Rose the person.

I would LOVE to use a 99 Signature "Charlie Hustle" Card.

Any in agreement with me, just follow my chant & cheer ....

WE WANT ROSE ... WE WANT ROSE ... WE WANT ROSE

It wouldn't be that good of a card. 1969 card looks like it would be best.

I think his card would end up being similar to Rod Carew. While definitely a good card, Carew gets passed over by many because of less power than other options. Carew even had higher SLG%.

Carew had 92 career homers vs. 160 Rose had. Rose would make a perfect as a #2 or #3 hitter because of the 125 L/R Contact & 125 Vision his card surely is to have (if ever released). Would make a great #8 hitter as well. His Power attributes will be low. But just me being a personal fan of Rose is what really has me wanting to play with him on my DD Team. Even if just more for Offline rather then Online.

Just adding this note as well. Being that Rose is the ALL TIME hit leader. His L/R Contact & his Vision attribute should be the 1st Card to be at 130 or 135. But that is "IF" it ever is released.

Hey, I'm all for more legends being integrated. It's cool to have greats that are personal favorites available to play with. I also know that some of the cards that the community are always whining about needing, end up being much less useful than they expected.

Look at this years additions that so many had begged for. Pedro, Soriano, Clemente, Aaron, Prince Fielder, etc. How many of them are considered "meta", and appear in many lineups? I love the Aaron card, and I'm surely in the minority on that take.

Rose would be solid but unspectacular and therefore he would be quickly dismissed as an L by the players. Its unfortunately just how this community looks at cards.

That's not how that works though. Rose played for a long time is one reason he had a ton of hits. His card would be broken down per season. If it was a Sig or Prime card it would be multiple seasons, and since he did get over 200 hits many times he should get 125 contact or very close. But there are plenty of other guys that would deserve above 125 before Rose. Not that I think anyone does because 125 is the max now. A guy like Ichiro or Tony Gwynn to name a couple that were better hitters.

I disagree. He ONLY beat Aaron's HR record due to the Juice he was taking. Aaron is still the HR King no matter what.

Rose & Aaron made their records from God given talent & staying healthy to play 125+ games every season.

Bonds had natural talent. His father was a great player. Barry deserves to be in here.

Key word is "HAD" .... Once his production began to dive down & decrease. He turned to the Juice to compensate & it turned him into a BEAST.

But yes he did have talent. However his final 6 seasons would NOT have been like it was if NOT for the Juice & it was those final 6 seasons that made all the difference with him being able to catch & pass Aaron. However without the Juice, he never ever would've.

Barry didn't need the juice. Let's all keep it real on that.

He didn't need the juice to be within the top 10 current outfielders production wise for that time & era. But he wanted to be #1 of ALL TIME & used the juice for that.

So I am very sorry. I do NOT condone cheaters.

    Pete Rose is a fraud.
He played for 20 years and was a punch and judy hitter.
He didn't drive in runs, didn't hit for power (including doubles, triples), and didn't steal bases.
He was agressive, played hard and was heads up.
I would take Cobb and about 50 other players before him.
He might make an all-time team, but it would be the 5th or 6th all-time team.
    Plus the whole scumbag thing.
