I'm not an astros fan, but I do think the astros were a scapegoat for a league wide problem. People just need to let it go IMO. Gerrit cole was harassed for two weeks about the sticky stuff and that just went away just like that. Same thing needs to happen with the Astros
AJ Hinch was the scapegoat.
That's true. Which is unfortunate because when the tigers are in the playoffs within the next 2-3 years people will be calling out cheating allegations left and right
Yeah it is unfortunate

I hated on the Astros enough. After this season and last season I'm over it, they're good . I'm glad because now I will use the 99 Alvarez and whatever other Astros players get cards . I also watched a pretty convincing video on altuve and evidence supporting he was the only astro that wasn't cheating .

I'm beginning to let the cheating thing go. At this point, the public knowledge that they cheated in the 2017 season is enough of a mark on their record I guess.
In the long run, the scandal has had some positives. The Tigers now have Hinch to rebuild their team with. MLB is more aware of the possibility that teams could cheat with modern technology so they'll keep a better eye out for it. And the whole thing produced some pretty good memes. Though some trash talk is entertaining (Joe Kelly making faces last year, lol), I think it's time to move on, for the most part.
Only downside is that as a Tigers fan, I will be instead using my energy to berate false allegations of cheating when we make it to the postseason. The White Sox already accused us of stealing signs or something this year. Baloney.

Yeah it is easy to accuse a team or players who cheated in the past. If caught again those players I would think be banned for life but who knows with this commish

At least the runner on second rule is being dropped

that is good news, I hated that rule, I do not like the Pitch to three batter rule takes away the strategy of the game

I don't mean this in any sort of disrespect or anything, what is your guys take on the cheating? I genuinely want to know.
As a Dodger Fan, I'll never forgive them for 2017. However, my anger is directed at that team only. I really like and respect Dusty Baker. I hate Altuve and Correa to the point where I refuse to use them in the show (I know that's petty, but whatevs). Everything that group said about the situation made it worse. I have nothing against Astros fans.
If my team wasn't robbed of a World Series, I'd have long since been over it.

Let me ask you a question to answer your question. We are talking about professional Major League Hitters right? If it was such an advantage knowing whether a fastball or breaking pitch were coming, why didn't Bregman or Springer hit 50-70 Home Runs that year? They are playing on a field where the Crawford Boxes are a chip shot away. Why didn't Altuve (who was getting 200 hits a year on teams losing 100 games) hit .400? Why didn't the entire lineup hit at least .300? Yeah it's probably some sort of advantage knowing what's coming at you but its not the advantage everyone thinks it is. You don't know the location of the pitch, high/low, inside or outside. If you'd ever played a high level of baseball, you would know that it matters. Anyway that's my take and I'm sure many would disagree with me but that's how I see it. Flame away if you like

I see a lot of people are supporting a team that cheats....hmm, weird.

I accidentally bought an astros shirt a couple weeks before WS so now their my picks. But honestly not only is this incredibly unoriginal but also kinda not true. Believe what you want but I’m tired of “Did you know the Astros Cheated ” Lets day you’re an Indians fan. You would probably be mad if I said “Did you know you’re team is racist.” Cause it’s mostly not true. (I don’t mean this as in the team name isn’t racist I just mean it’s a generalization to then say the organization is, and this was just an example)

Boston is the racist team cause the city of Boston on average is pretty racist. The Astros are cheaters cause the majority of their good players who cheated in 2017 are still there so yeah, team is still a bunch cheaters. So to summarize, Boston is the racist team and Astros is the cheating them.

The Astros were Cheating that's why they got immunity from the Commish, My issue is with how MLB and the Commish handle the whole situation once it was out. You can not ignore what is fact. At the same time it happened and some people will never move on from it. I am a dodger fan, I some what have moved on from it. The majority of the team is not there any longer, You have Altuve, Carrea and at the time Bregman was young I think a 2nd year player he was just following along with the vets. I agree it is tiring to talk about. If getting caught with cheating and not being banned then the 1919 Blacksox scandal those players should all be reinstated and put Shoeless Joe Jackson in the Hall Fame, Reinstate Pete Rose, Yeah he bet on baseball, it was in violation how can you keep these players out but allow the Players on the Astros to continue to play because you give them immunity, You do not think any of those passed player that are banned would have agreed to tell the truth if they had Immunity or what about the Roids era shouldn't they have immunity, It's ok to cheat just tell us the truth and nothing will happen to you that is the message that the Commish sent.
