Can't change position anymore?

Hello,

So far, I've never played much into a career in RTTS. After a season or two, I would delete that save file and start a new career from minors.
This time, I'm going deep into it. I started as a 2B and staunchly refused to also pitch... until I made a mistake and accepted, and I've been a 2-way player since. It's not too bad, I pitch a game every now and then, get maybe 10-12 starts in a season.
What bothers me is that they never ask me if I'm happy with this, or if I want to change anything. Seems like the only thing I can change is the team: I can get traded, etc, but I'm still a 2-way player (2B + SP).
Is there no way to switch anymore?
