Card I ever sold back! Million stub order went through. Played one game of ranked and he was 0-5 with 5 rough ABs.
After his first AB HR was lost to a dashboard the other day in BR, I was pretty underwhelmed with his swings after that. Multiple balls I squared up that went for singles or lazy fly balls. I only homered 1 more time with him in ~20 ABs(I know small sample size).
I had two other players making ranked debuts in the same game tonight and both came up clutch with multi-hit games and runs batted in(Kike at 3B and Biggio at C). Then the player who I just can’t replace with Mays or anyone right now, POTM O’Neill hit a two-out walk-off single in the 10th that my opponent dashboarded lol. He was 3–5 with a HR.

Mays swing is definitely an acquired taste. I'll be taking Sale immediately but I'll buy the other two also.

Stats don’t mean anything. I can’t hit with Mantle. He’s pretty much a near perfect player too. All about the swing.

Yes, I absolutely agree. I prefer a faster swing. Like last year, I had a high OBP with Mantle, but even with all that power I wasn’t getting the results I expected.
