I’m using the red infernos and I feel like it’s too sensitive with the pci. Anybody recommend the purple galaxy’s or the white cqc mid rises. I think I’m between those 2

I got some purple galaxies a few months back after a buddy of mine recommended them. I like them for sure but my only complaint is over time the one on the left stick thats used for hitting starts popping off. It probably has something to do with user error and me jerking the pci too hard in one direction but it does happen. I think I saw they make some of them now with 4 hooks instead of 3 which would help keep it in place more. Not sure if the purple galaxy come with 4 but if they do I would suggest getting those.

I find the infernos too tall (I use one for the right stick in Battlefield, though)... I've tried a bunch of KF's and for me the best one is the lower height Vortex. It's concave and 5.6 mm... I've tried convex and don't like it at all. But everyone probably has their own preferences.

@DeadPhish1976 sometimes when the joystick is already used and has some wear on them the control freaks don't clip on as well and they slide off easily. I had the same issue and put them on a brand new controller and they clipped on just fine and I haven't had an issue since.

I use the Red Infernos and have been for the past year (get new ones every few months). I like the taller ones though. Used the purple Galaxy for awhile before that but I never would use the med size one and so switched to the Inferno.

I used them for a while last year and it helped a bit but then I wasn't moving thr PCI enough at times. Took em off and haven't looked back. Been much better without them myself.
For reference I think they were the purple galaxy ones.

Thanks. Yeah, I suspected that could be part of the problem as well. My controller does have some wear on it so perhaps its about time for a new one.

I have the infernos, galaxy’s, and green cqc’s. I find the green cqc is best for me hitting and the purple short galaxy is good for pitching. Infernos and other tall kontrol freeks seem too tall for the ps5 controller and make me feel slower.

I was using the red infernos before, this time around I bought the black nightfall. I'm liking the nightfall one's better, but that's my personal preference.

I don't understand a single word of this conversation. I'm heading to the internet to look up some of these word combinations.

I agree! I didn't understand several months ago, then I looked up videos on it, and then bought some. Now, I just bought another set after realizing how much it improves the sensitivity and accuracy of the PCI placement and the boost I got in my Zone hitting from that.

I don’t hit well with KF at all. I’ve tried them and I feel it moves the PCI too much for this game. They’re great for other games but for me, not the show.

I might have to check them out. I had no idea these existed. That's why I read this forum, I learn a lot from more experienced users.

It’s worth it to me and a cheap purchase. I would suggest getting a mid-rise pair to begin. The reason I say that is because if you get low or high rise pairs it might not be enough or too much. Start in the middle and go from there. It will feel weird for a little but I promise you, if you stick with it you’ll never wanna take them off. Helps with placement/accuracy a ton.

    Couple things to know -

Spending over $25 gets you free shipping.

Use a code from a streamer to get 10% off. I think koogs or yfk should work. But there are others too.

The ones I recommend are the green cqc signatures for starting out. I still use one of them for hitting and a mid rise purple galaxy for pitching. BUT recently here it seems like they’re discontinuing the green cqc signatures. So eBay or Amazon is your next bet for getting them (probably will be a little more thru them though).

If your curious about a mid rise and high rise, but only wanna buy one pair.. Get the galaxy’s, they come with one of each.

    Hope this helps brother!

To anyone who has never used control freaks, they are great for any game especially shooters. They make it so less thumb movement is more, so they also alleviate some pain if you play all day I would think.
