The complete ignorance for the Mariners players (this year especially) is shameful.

The last player upgrades completely missed out on the post season contending Mariners who’s live series players are undervalued. I know sds has biases with certain teams but the Mariners bullpen has been so lights out this year without one above 82 overall. The starting pitching has the stats to be well above their ratings especially Chris Flexen who is still a 72 bronze. Please upgrade my Mariners based on what they’ve accomplished this year and stop ignoring Ty France and JP Crawford as well.
-
Mariners are a good team with a few above averages players but no real stars. Ratings are about right
-
With their run diff they are the luckiest team in the league by far
-
Mariners are out in the West Coast, so all their games finish after San Diego Studio employees go to bed.

The roster update I thinknos finalized by a certain date which likely doesn't take into consideration half of the wins the M's have of late so the update after the postseason could see them bumped up still
That said I'll take a Mitch Hanager finest card please
-
Seeing that what was it, 3 Cardinals went Diamond today? You have a point. The M's came in like a Ninja into the race, that has something to do with it.
Don't sweat it, though.
They do have given Kelenic his props, though.
If anything, just protest with signs outside the SDS offices 🤪 -

San Diego is West coast as well, genius

What difference does it make? None of the live series cards are good. Even if they made every single mariner an 89 none of them would be useable. And this might seem like sarcasm but it's a legitimate question...why do you care?
-
Flexen has 3 plus WAR on the season. Better than Stanton (2.7) who just went diamond. Harrison Bader has 3.2 and also just went diamond.

Because the whole system is supposed to update the live series cards to be similar to real life. It’s for consistency sake. Also in your argument why do any updates at all. if they’re not 99 they are not usable.

All that means is when they lose they get blown out. When they win they win by 1

I do think the updates are absolutely pointless.

It means they had to play the Astros too many times

Nah… over a long season, it means they aren’t that good. Trust me, I understand feeling like your home boys got slighted, but the Mariners are only where they are because the A’s collapsed. The Mariners just aren’t very good, and they’ll be a third or fourth place team next year, like they should have been this year.

While I agree the M's are lucky to be in the position they are in this year, I do think they have a shot at the playoffs next year too. The rangers stink, the Angels have no pitching outside of Ohtani and there is no reason to expect him to be this good on the pitching side next year, and the Astros are very likely going to lose their best offensive player(Correa). Pair that with Lewis coming back and Rodriguez getting called up and they are a very dangerous team. They got some very good young talent
-
I may be wrong but I believe part of the algorithm for live series ratings is a players past 3 year production. I think current is weighed a little heavier but Mariners really don’t have any household names… yet.
-
The only thing that really matters with live series cards going up or down in ratings is their value on the market. Let’s be honest, the only lineups that really see LS players are BR and Events. The exception being Trout.
-
Hey, the Rangers don't stink .... ok... yeah they do. Wait till next...no .... we'll still be bad. 2023 though just...no probably not then either.

Lol that’s rich coming from an As fan. The mariners absolutely destroyed the As down the stretch. You can kiss our whole a$$ hole
