Catcher : POTM Schwarber or Sig Pizzaza?
-
So I just got Signature Piazza today and his #s look great.
But POTM Schwarber is one of my favorite cards and the guy just rakes for me.
I did use Piazza a few times in showdown and he does have a lot of pop whenever he makes contact. You can feel is strength once he hits it.
Which is preferred at Catcher?
-
Between the two I would take Piazza, neither is great defensively but I'm more consistent with Piazza this his long swing takes a minute to get use to.
-
As much as it pains me when I see Schwarber behind the plate, I get it. It is too good of a card to ignore and nobody is going to use it in the outfield.
I really like Piazza and the defense isn't terrible. Some people don't do well with his swing, but he can mash for a lot of people. I also really like Pudge and Adley back there. I would prefer Pudge, but I Iove switch hitters and he has a great swing from both sides.
-
I suck with Piazza. Schwarbs still batting over .300 with great power. I keep Adley on the bench for defensive sub if needed
-
People are sleeping on Pudge. Diamond D, Elite contact, good power and most importantly speed from the C position which is rare.
-
Salvador Perez All star
-
Jt Realmuto Allstar and Schwarber make a deadly duo! After that it would be Adley or Pudge. Biggio is a nice bench piece as well that can be subbed in at catcher.
-
Adley is king in my opinion. Switch hitter, can field and throw runners out, hits everything in sight for XB's. Realmuto is a close second.
-
Mike Zunino.
-
Adley is that dude but between Piazza and Schwarber I would easily go Schwarbs. He’s still a top choice. I think Piazza isn’t that good at all tbh. His defense might be worse than Schwarbs. I’d have to look at their stats again but I know Piazza isn’t throwing anyone out. TBH I think Joe Torre is better than Piazza.

I agree, All Star JT is unreal. It’s either him or Adley would be my top 2 choices. Posada is pretty underrated as well.
-
Grandal. Switch hitting, great power/contact, solid D. His speed isn’t an issue when he hits it out of the park
-
My CAP is still "The GOAT"
-
Adley is awesome!!!
-
Schwarber 3
Piazza 4That’s my offline lineup

They gave pudge 80 reaction haha. Why not 99 reaction?

IDK how any of u hit with Mr. Frosted Tips! And whoever said CAP, yuck! Just my opinion tho. I hate CAPS and wish they'd keep them in RTTS.

I second JT Realmuto. He has a great swing, good speed, and great D with a killer arm. For switch hitters. I’ve done better with Posada than Adley, but to be fair, I haven’t used Adley much yet. I like Biggio for his speed and.versatility, and haven’t used Pudge this year yet.

98 JT definitely underrated.
