This one is a head-scratcher for sure. Makes no sense to me.

Makes for really quick games. So everyone has a chance at the rewards

Lol there's 3 events to get these rewards. These are already only 3 innings. No need to shorten any further. Might as well roll a virtual die to determine the winner.

Last game I lead off top of the first:

    He’s pitching Walter Johnson:

    Brock starts 3-2 count, walk
Luis Robert - 1-1 count, 3 pitches, 2 run HR
    Quit - W - next game please

I will say didn’t the schedule say “new rewards”? Don’t see anything new in the win path.

Didn’t they say they would add rewards? I still need those rewind packs, but I usually don’t play quick count games because I like to take pitches and figure out how my opponent is pitching.

There’s no way they don’t mess with the gameplay sliders whenever they do quick counts on all star. It’s always significantly easier to hit, it’s like playing on veteran. The average runs per event game for me is significantly higher in this event than the last with the East, despite the central having much better pitchers IMO

I think it’s due to quick counts placing us in situations where we have to come over the plate. I think that’s leading to the higher scores personally but hey, you may be right but we’ll never know

I’m just happy that I can parallel Barry for the next few days

Was a typo or just a mistake in general. Multiple part events will and always will have the same reward path

My first game, all three of my opponents 1st inning batters started with 1-2 counts. I had Feller on the mound... It was "a three pitch inning"

Quick counts are definitely a world of their own. They give you a 3-1 and the opponent auto takes something on the black and the entire inning will change. I just have a really hard time grooving stuff, but man those walks can kill you....no matter how well you have been playing or how bad the opponent is.

They should’ve made it a 1 inning game with runners at 3.

Not a fan of this quick count event at all, it rewards players who don’t normally work the count.

First event game. I bat first. Honus vs Maddux 1-1 count, first pitch no doubt HR. He quits. I love this already. That was also my first AB with Honus online

I'm not great at online but really want to get my feet wet, would this format overwhelm me? I pitch decently, hit poorly online but slowly improving.

No it won’t. I’ve been having a blast. The quick counts give you a “head start” on your at bat. I beg you 2-1 or 3-1 take the pitch. 2-2 most of the time is a waste pitch.

The ppl that complain about it can’t pitch. They just spam the same pitch over and over

Awesome, I mean, I realize I probably won't win a great deal but I have the same God squad Meta players that most people do and could conceivably win if I learn to lay off breaking balls in the dirt and outlier driven high heat.
