For me the biggest surprise has been the awards wade boggs card. Dang it’s deadly and plays above the attributes..same with jimmy rollins

    HM-olerud, carter

For duds, I have to go with Tom Seaver, I know almost all pitchers got nerfed, but with Seaver’s pitch mix and motion I thought it would translate into something good…but then they went snd changed his motion, it’s not fluid when using and easy to pick up

    Hm-biggio

This isn’t analysis. Everyone plays different with cards. Just interesting to find out

Boggs is a god. Mantle needs a MVP award and Frank is too [censored] big to be hitting singles.

Castilla is a big suprise, i love him so far
I wouldn't call it a suprise but Adley as been great as well

    My biggest busts have been

Thomas and Giambi but eith there being so many great first basemen i'm ok with that.

I have used Seaver in the event with success and I love his speed differential

Rollins, Adley, Seaver, mantle all get consistent PT for me. Sheff and Boggs are off bench. A lot of the others really are underwhelming imo.

Personally I love Seaver, Honus Rollins, Larkin and Mantle.

Didsapointment- so far Frank Thomas. All he's been hitting is singles.

    Best surprises:

    1. Giambi
    2. Boggs
    3. Edmonds
    4. Walter Johnson

    Biggest disappointments:

    1. Honus (absolute trash for me)
    2. Big Hurt (good but not nearly as good as the hype)
    3. Mantle (good but slightly disappointing compared to the hype)
    4. Every other pitcher not named Walter

Adley by a mile for me.

As I've said a million times, I just can't ever hit with Mantle.

Duke Snyder is better then people think. Plays a good LF, destroy’s righties and holds his own against lefties.

Larkin for me. Plays way better than Honus, who I was super hyped about. Gonzo is also a stud. Was not going to even try him because of his speed but the guy absolutely rakes.

Other than Honus, Adley has been my big disappointment. Everyone was hyping him but he is a warning track king for me. Biggio also can't hit it out of the infield.

So far Rollins has been an absolute monster. I just got Luis Gonzales and Vinny Castilla who started slow and then started mashing. Larkin is another pleasant surprise.
Jim Edmonds has been a bust and even though he wasn't one with high expectations, he's one of my favorite players and I hit a HR on the first pitch I saw, and then hardly anything after.

Boggs without doubt. He is now my active 3B. I have Chipper on the bench if it’s a lefty starter.

Rest of them. I’m persisting with Mantle Altho I’m not sure he’s gonna last.

    Adley is going OK

Rollins was the first player I chose from TA4. Mostly because of exchanges but Ive always been a fan of Rollins, He plays way above his stats for me. He obviously is one of the best defensive SS in the game but his hitting is what surprised me. He constantly gets on base. I don't think I've ever struck out with him and his contact numbers aren't great on paper. Someone like Kemp who has great hitting stats I don't seem to ever get into a groove with. Its all or nothing for Kemp for me.

I love all these great reviews.

Honestly the Best Card is Mickey Mantle. The situation now everyone can hit with him.
Biggio for me last year was decent, this year his swing is awesome and more pop.
Audy prospect card was better for me and this new one i am struggling a little bit hitting
Snider is a surprise his swing is so sweet
    I struggle with Luis Gonzalez
Giambi has a good swing also
Wagner swing i consider a little bit different this year and is decent for me

I disagree about this part. Arm never seems to be enough and let's balls through you'd expect someone with that speed and fielding to get to. Story, Honus, and Mauricio are in a different league

That Mauricio card is a real sleeper. I saw people using him at a high level in the tournament.
