Is Hitting This Hard?

I have been a regular CS player with a WS appaearance often sprinkled in over the past three years. I blitzed to Pennant Race this year losing just one game.
Now I can't seem to hit to save my life. More frustrating is I'll have opponents flailing all game, then all of a sudden they'll hit three random solo shots and I'm done.
What do I need to do? More practice before games? Slow down? What in the world?!

Directional, wait for the game to serve you pitches down the middle (regardless of where your opponent is trying to put them) you’ll get quite a few to crush every game.

I've never done anything but zone. Is everyone really using directional this year?

I can pretty much guarantee nobody in the higher levels uses directional.. that tells you everything

Yeah, figured as much. Time to slow down and do some more pre-game BP I think.

also try relaxing your mind and quit trying to out think your opponent..Just play the game like you normally do and relax..You know your not gonna crush it every time so see a pattern of how your being pitched and make a game plan on based on that
