Sorry for some of these basic questions (from a PS4 user in Great Britain)...

I do use Youtube to gain some answers, but you can appreciate that some of the answers and info are contrary to one another.

    1. As to your loadout, should I have started at Bronze Archetype and 'only' added 'bronze' traits before moving up to silver and son on?
Not knowing what I was doing I had two 'silver' archetype and applied blue diamond traits to them. I then worked from 0 - 100 to get to a gold archetype. In other words do the archetype and traits have to match?

    2. I don't know if it because I'm based on UK servers, but I note from YouTube videos that there video clips for the analysts during your career, but I do not appear to have them for RTTS, only the sound clips. Is it a server issue or have I not turned on a switch somewhere?

    3. Do I have to do a full 9 innings in DD conquests to get the rewards added to my created player in rtts, or do I need to add my pitcher to DD? I'm playing 3 innning games at the moment.

    4. If I'm a mid - 90s pitcher, should I improve my fielding or batting next?

    5. what does improving your relationship with your team mates actually do...

    6. Surely there must be only one set of 'ideal' equipment that a player needs for their pitcher, is there a list anywhere...

    7. In rtts, can I be involved in the end of season trade deals and promotions of positions players?

    Thanks for any assistance:

    Seyley

You can add whatever Perks you want to whichever Archetype you have. The only difference is how many you can equip.
Improving your relationship with teammates gives you some boosts. If you cycle the screens before a game starts, the one with the field positions should show you the boosts you receive from friendships. See this page here for an example: https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/mlb-the-show-21-what-is-cfd-drain/
For the equipment, look at inventory. You can see the benefits for each piece of equipment, whether you own it or not.
    Bats: give you some Contact and Power boosts, choose one to suit your needs. Best ones give you 14 points across these two stats, (P: +6, 😄 +8), (P: +7, 😄 +7), (P: +8, 😄 +6), (P: +9, 😄 +5). There's one bat that gives (P: +8, 😄 +8), but you can't buy it or gain it.
Batting gloves: I use the Jordan Alpha Huarache Elite, which give me Contact +6 and Power +5. Most of these will give you 20 total points across 4 different stats.
Fielding glove: these give you boosts for 5 different stats, and you should choose depending on your position. Outfielders will likely look for higher Fielding, Arm Strength and Arm Accuracy. Infielders probably don't care as much about Arm strength. Pitchers will look at the pitching boosts (K/9, H/9, HR/9, PCLT).
Cleats: similar to fielding glove, you choose the one that gives you boosts for stats you need. I like the Adizero Afterburners, as they give +14 speed and +10 steal.
Cather mask, Chest Protectors and Leg guards: higher BLK is better, if you play catcher. Otherwise, no need.
Elbow guard, Shin guard, Wrist guard: only one diamond for each.
Compression sleeve: one of the gold ones.
Bat grips: one of the diamond ones.
Eyewear: Radar EV Pitch gives the best boosts.
Socks: Jackie Robinson Day or any other diamond item.
Ritual: depends on position. Axle Grease for pitcher, Legendary Call for power+contact boosts, or Legend in a Cleat for speed and steal boosts.

I don't know what you've asked at (2). I'd be curious to know myself.
