Mookie..

With the release of TA 4 is there really a need for me to collect Mookie anymore?
-
Mookie was a test to see what % of the community will complete literally anything you put in front of them.
-
theyre making it a lot easier to get Mookie now, I would've saved about a million stubs if I would've waited til after this program. Is Mookie good? Yes. Is he worth spending everything you have if you're a casual player, no. Not really. The best thing about Mookie is his versatility. He can play every position at a high level. Kinda like Honus.

Yea and now I see Kershaw is another collection tier, I am good, I am not doing anymore topps now moment's

That all comes down to if you want the card or not. For me, I’m not a god squad meta player, I don’t have a single parallel V card because of how often I switch my lineups. If you like using different cards, go for it.

Yea but you could say that about a handful of TA 4 players, which are much easier and cheaper to acquire. I don’t know maybe I am in the minority here.

I wouldn’t even put Mookie on a God Squad over some of those TA 4 guys in all honesty. I don’t consider myself much of a meta guy either but Mickey’s going straight into CF.

I was in the mindset I wouldn’t get him, TA4 dropped, some lucky pack pulls so I figured what the heck. I think the only guy I haven’t pulled from my lineup since I got him is 99 Vlad Jr. Just because I’m a Jays fan.

I love that card, but will have to replace him with John when I get him.

Kershaw is most likely the last "big collection" due to his spot in the GOAT program.
-
Mookie was awful for me until he got to parallel 2. He was hitting something like .160 for me with no HRs online
How has an average bat for me, hits around .265 and is at P3.
To me. There are better cards, but the fact they give him a cheeky auto shift does help.

Hope that is the case for me as well... im hitting 190 woth only 2 HR on HOF difficulty.. wish it gets better with P3

Mookie has been insane for me. Started slow but after a few ranked games, I got used to his smaller strike zone
He’s now up to P4 and no way he’s leaving 2B since we aren’t getting Hornsby this year

As far as cards are concerned what card is better? I challenge you all to tell me that. And no I’m not asking for a comparison to be made between a regular position player and a pitcher. As far as raw attributes are concerned right now the only card that is even close is Mantle and Mookie is significantly better defensively. But if you really believe he is not worth it than that’s fine I’ll use him and give you plenty of reasons to regret that decision if I match up against you

Both Mo and Mook were in the GOAT program as well.
-
Mookie is legit the best card in the game
-
Hes endgame at second.

For me, it was the idea that TA4 helped fit out a lot of the extra programs for free. Needed the 3 future stars, a couple awards, a few Sigs. So got those for free and easy to lock in.
Maybe I’m looking at kershaw the way you’re looking at mookie…if I know for sure there are TWO programs in can’t/won’t complete (looking at you Ohtani / monthly awards) then I’ll sell anyone not locked in for mookie.
Market really high now, I didn’t track all earnings (because I bought some other cards as well), but my stub count went from just over 1mm to almost 3mm from the weekend.

Yes, Mookie is amazing. Best 2nd baseman available.
