I vote for Ketel also mostly because of his power and switching hitting. He doesn't have Honus' defense but you know he can always face any pitcher.
Umm Honus can face any pitcher...
Not as a switch hitter.
-
Doesn't need to be a switch hitter, has great contact and good power vs both side, switch hitting is a farce but that's another conversation for another time.
-
Anyone who has Honus and doesn't have them in their main lineup is doing it wrong

Different strokes and all that but it's not a farce for everyone. You vote Honus and that's cool but it's not unanimous for Honus. I take Ketel all day and hit better with him over Honus. I take Ketel all day but you don't have to.

You'd be pretty hard pressed to find people that are taking Ketel over Honus, also if you use zone hitting and strike zone camera, switch hitting is irrelevant. You don't even see the batter and you're moving a dot to a ball..

Not hard pressed, because you just found one. And I use those settings and he has been a better hitter for me. I just like his swing better. It really bothers you that much that someone disagrees? Honus is a great card but I prefer Ketel and I like his switch hitting.

Ok lol

Not a switch hitter, but Finest McNeil is pretty solid vs righties and lefties, and has decent positional flexibility.
-
Surprised PS Foxx hasn't been mentioned yet. His C eligibility means you can use him as a Pinch Runner for a C on base without having to double switch. He may not steal bags, but at least he isn't a liability on the base paths (most catchers are very sloooooow) and you can count on his bat next time through the order.
-
Finest Danny Santana also deserves some mention as well
-
Tops now Eduardo Escobar should be included

If you take Ketel over Honus you're probably not all that great at this game... Or you just don't have Honus at all. Honus is a top 5 overall player in the game, not only is his bat great but his speed and defense outweighs a majority of players in this game especially Ketel. Mr.Marte has been pulled in finest packs and sold 3 times for me and since the 4th time pulled he's got a nice spot in my inventory, where he'll never get an inning of playing time on my God squad. I didn't grind for 4 months to get Ketel haha.

Wait I did that wrong. nO YoU aRe nOT GOod aT tHiS gAMe. There, did I use the way to argue an opinion on this board correctly? Why is it so hard for some on here to understand everyone has different play styles or play better with different players instead of just resorting to the "you must not be good at this game" argument.
-
Not sure why anyone thinks Honus is the best utility bench guy only because he is clearly the best SS and should be a starter.
Jackie Robinson - can be great pinch runner. Can sub in OF and most of IF. Good pinch hitter
Ketel Marte - obvious reasons. Switch hitter with speed can play OF and IF
Bellinger - if for some reason you don’t start him. Plays 1B and Of and can be pinch runner
Bench - c, 3B and I think OF
-
I think the best bet is the pre order Baez. Actually plays a great center field, destroys lefties, and hits righties very well.

That wasn't part of my argument it was just a joke, I actually explained why Honus is better. The fact that you hung onto just that one point makes it more likely to be a fact though, well that and your ranking. Play me sometime and prove me wrong it could be a good game, you better have Ketel in your lineup though!
-
Honus all the way absolutely brilliant for me this year love this card - also shout out to The Horndog aka Roger Hornsby
-
Decided to look through and from what I spotted, the only ones I would count as utility guys are
-Honus (SS, 1B, 3B, LF, CF, RF)
-Finest Ketel Marte (CF, LF, RF, SS, 2B,)
-Finest Javy Baez(SS, 2B, 3B, CF)
-SS Paul Molitor (3B, 2B, 1B, CF)
-Danny Santana (1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF, RF)
-09 Ben Zobrist (2B, 1B, 3B, SS, LF, CF, RF), 15 Ben Zobrist (2B, 1B, SS, LF, RF)
-Future Stars Nick Senzel (3B, 2B, SS, LF, CF, RF)
-SS Robin Yount (SS, LF, CF, RF)
-MA Brad Miller (LF, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CF, RF)
-MA Scott Kingery (CF, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, RF)
-Kris Bryant (3B, 1B, LF, CF, RF)
-Johnny Bench (C, 1B, 3B, LF, RF)
-AS Chris Davis (1B, 3B, LF, RF)
-Lourdes Gurriel Jr (LF, 2B, 3B, SS, RF)
-Whit Merrifield (2B, 1B, 3B, LF, CF, RF)
-TN Miguel Sano (3B, 1B, LF, RF)
-MA Mark Canha (CF, 1B, 3B, LF, RF)
-SS Hanley Ramirez (SS, 1B, 3B, LF)
-Rookie Trea Turner (CF, 2B, SS, LF, RF)
-Jeff McNeil (LF, 1B, 2B, 3B, RF)
I'm sure there are others, but that's a cursory glance. I think you gotta be more than just IF or OF or OF+1B tbh -
91 rated player of the month Tommy Edman
Switch Hitter
2B, SS, 3B, LF, CF, RF
110/98 Contact and 70/85 power with 80 vision
85 speed
The biggest knock for online play would be his fielding rating of 72 but he is fine in offline play. -
