Do Any TA4 pitchers (or Kershaw) have fast windups?
-
As a mostly offline and BR player, even if a pitcher is good I stay away if they have a slow windup (like Lefty Grove, Christy Mathewson or even Devin Williams). Nolan Ryan is probably the only slow one I use.
Do any of these guys have fast windups? They don't have to be the absolute fastest (like my favorite Glasnow, but decently fast like Verlander would be nice)
Kershaw
Gibson
Feller
Seaver
Maddux
Trevor Hoffman
David Price
Saberhagen
Newhouser
Walter Johnson -
Out of that list I think Saberhagen is your guy. But he looks like gumby

I was going to say Sabwrhagen but I haven't used him yet,

Seaver’s is decently quick in comparison, and if I remember so is gibsons.

Saberhagen cards for some reason always look like he's malnourished with a drug problem. One of his Rookie cards in the past actually looked scary. Great cards though... Always perform well for me.

Bob Gibson has basically the same windup as Nolan Ryan.

I know he's not a TA4 guy, but two of the best I've seen recently are POTM Robbie Ray, and Topps Tyler Gilbert. It's fun pitching with them because their windup is so fast and fluid. I know you're asking more about which TA4 players to go for, but in the meantime, try them.

For sure, I totally love the quick windup guys, especially the lefties like AS Carlos Rodon. I'm guessing most of the TA4 pitchers are more deliberate at least when nobody is on base due to the time period in which they played. Hoffman may be the exception to that rule but I haven't really dug into TA4 yet.

I’m pretty sure they updated Walter Johnson’s windup this year and it’s pretty quick

Do future stars count towards legend and flashback missions for TA4?

Seaver and Oswalt are basically the same pitcher

Thanks for the replies. I'll try Sabes and Seaver first.
Just dont put Saberhagen into any game with wind....
