Throttle Limit Reached Error

I have gotten this error on both the website and the companion app. Would love to hear why the requests are being throttled. It has been an issue on the website since July 7th when the June Monthly Awards program was pushed back due to technical difficulties and I have started seeing the message pop up on the app fairly recently.

This sounds like an issue with your ISP.

I've only ever seen this on the app, and it only happens when I put in 100+ orders very quickly, which I have been doing lately while preparing for TA4. I assume it is either because of a limit on the overall number of orders you can place at a given time, or to try and slow down the number of requests each person can make within a given amount of time. I usually let it sit for a minute and can place more.

Probably for the same reason why they put out an app 2 months into the game cycle.

But why would it still be in place even with the app?
