Listening to the Twitch Streams is a lot like hearing a sales pitch from an auto dealership. Especially the Twitch Streams that precede the game's release every year. Here's what I mean:

The salesman pretty much knows what you want because you've told them repeatedly: Performance & Handling are the most important things to you. However, year-in & year-out, the manufacturer cuts corners in these areas and focuses on the body style & meaningless interior accessories instead.

Consequently, when it comes time to inspect the new model & take the test drive, it's inevitable that you'll be less than impressed. The salesperson knows this, so they spend an inordinate amount of time pointing out the inconsequential accessories. They tell you nonsense like they've got "the best cup holders ever!" - not to mention the "really cool chrome-plated hub caps!"

Unfortunately for us however, there really aren't any other manufacturers out there. True, RBI baseball exists, but it's more of a go cart than an automobile...It's a lot like living in Yugoslavia when the communists were in power. If you were in the market for a car, your choices were Yugo, Yugo or Yugo - or you could strap an ox cart to your back.
