I never offer them and never accept them no matter what. For me it's simple... Game launched, we play.
That's how it is for most folks who want to compete. Lots of these slobs are just looking for victims.
Or people see a God Squad and/or a really good record so they want to punk out.
I'll never buy that "something came up" BS
This is really what it is used for. Regardless of whether it does or does not give you an advantage (frankly I don't care about this), once you get matched up that is the opponent you should play. Not cherry picking to find someone with a lesser squad or poor record.

Don't join a GD game if you don't have time. Don't join a game if you have kids to watch.
Buddy looks so bad that he offers a friendly quit after striking out twice and down 0-2. He then hits 3 home runs in a row.
Smash that quit button if you gotta go. I'm tired of the programming giving an advantage to you happy fellers. It's been going on for years now.
If you really believe in that then just let the timer run put on your opponent when they offer you a quit.

Does it bother anyone else when people write "Period" right after a period?

I only ask for friendly quit if the pitching matchup is identical.
My opponent usually agrees. -

I usually see if they'll let the timer run down and then quicky forfeit their game. But today I was cruisin and wanted some action. Buddy turned it around.

Maybe to be friendly.

Not really because you dont read the first period unless you’re some kind of weirdo.
It bothers me when people say LOL instead of laughing in real life tho.

I guess, but doesn't that mean there should be a period after "Period" then? Or at least an exclamation mark?

Played a guy earlier who watched the replay on a lucky hr he got with Trae turner and then started to bunt dance like he did something. I ended up going up 4-1 the very next inning and he had the marbles to send me a friendly.

Every squad in RS is a god squad.

I would probably give one if it was 2 run lead or less. Definitely if it was tied and towards the beginning of the game. I was winning 6-0 earlier and they asked for a friendly quit. Are you serious? Of course not. But then again, most of the time they’re just hoping you’ll accidentally hit x real quick on accident.

I've only had one game that ended up with a friendly quit. It was a ranked game a few years ago where we were tied in like the 20th inning, we were both on our last pitcher and neither of us had done anything offensively in at least four or five innings so it was pretty much a complete stalemate.
It was also about 3 in the morning and I was half asleep. When my opponent offered a friendly quit I happily accepted, because I was going to give it maybe one more inning then offer him one myself. I was so mentally checked out at that point that I no longer cared about winning and was just ready for the game to be over.

Spoken like someone with no real responsibilities. Emergencies happen, if I'm winning or its tied and I gotta run I'm gonna at least ask for a friendly quit and if denied I'll just quit out no problem but it's worth asking.
You probably shouldn't be firing up a 45 minute game with all those responsibilities.
People with responsibilities should not play The Show. Interesting perspective.

Ill accept friendlies if they bring cake and coffee. What happens if you neither accept or deny a friendly? Never noticed before? Can you do nothing and the game resume therefore nullifying all real or imagined voodoo ?
-
I'll except if starting pitchers are the same or if its @ shitpit stadium which i loathe.

Why do you do it if the pitchers are the same? I’ve seen a few people in here saying that.

I love the "I gotta go to work" messages.
Like you didn't know that 4 innings ago?
