1st Inning Content

Should hit 300 Stars in a few days. Maybe sooner, depending what you get Stars wise for completing the Player Program that coming tomorrow.
But other that that, some expensive collections, what's an off line player supposed to do to make it past 300 for this inning?
Play mindless CPU games? Play H2H eith the way online is so random and how the hitting is nerfed?
I know alot of their content is going to be effected by the current health scare; but there's only 17 days left in the current program and we have yet to get any type of Moments that award stars per moment.

I've been wondering the same. Although I've only gotten 99 stars so far. For the most part I've already accepted the fact I won't be able to reach 300 stars.

I think the player programs have replaced the individual program moments from last year. You get 20 stars for getting the player, and the moments are listed under the 1st inning.

I like individual moments player programs, it means, 3 bosses, 3 henchmen and 3-4 program players.
Both Granderson and Wood being useful as well helps.
There does seem to a lot missing though, there’s a lot of available program rewards with minimal stars available. I’m not even sure you can get half way with what’s available currently. . -

I've done everything possible, that will get me Program Stars other than the Main Conquest Map and the H2H Missions.

But say you avg 3-6 Stars for each 9inn Play vs CPU game nd 3-6 for each RS game (if my opponent npkays the full 9 inn); that means I have to play at least 100 Play vs CPU and at least 100 RS games, in 17 days to hit 1000.
That's ALOT of grinding.
Of course if I want to collect 7 of the SE Diamonds at 10K each, when they'll be 5k in a few weeks, I cam get 75 Stars. 70K for 75 Stars. That's 1k a star.
Or I could play MTO/TA Showdown 20x, if I dont lose to a Red Boss once, for and extra 20 Stars. Or again, buy Diamond Prospects at about 15K each.
So, for off line players; you're not going to sniff 1000 stars unless you don't have a life.
That's why we need Moments like last year. (IMO)

I agree, but what I’m saying is that it seems like the Granderson type programs are going to replace individual moments.
So instead of a set of moments every week with each giving a few stars, we get a player program every week with moments and a couple other missions that gives you 20 stars for finishing it.

You are probably in better shape than many offline people.
I have done the 1st inning conquest, the starter conquest, about half the US map conquest, the Granderson program, The Eckersly Program, a play vs CPU game, a small amount of MTO and had several failed attempts at the 1st innning showdown and I am sitting at 133 stars.
I assume the program tomorrow will grant 20 points like the Granderson mission. The sad thing is that these Granderson missions probably would have earned us 30-40 points last year since I assume that those multi game moments would have earned 5 or 8 points each.

I agree, but what I’m saying is that it seems like the Granderson type programs are going to replace individual moments.

I'd have to hop back onto 19 to see what they averaged per set of Moments; but I would be surprised of it was more than 20.
Heck, I think Ichiro's Momenrs totaled 52 Stars.
Don't get me wrong, anything is better than nothing. But I have a feeling that without content that keeps people playing, with a possibility of not having a season until mid May, and no IE until then, this game may not last past the end of June.

You are probably in better shape than many offline people.

Yes. I'm in a tab bit of a better shape than other offline players. I do have a handful of Event games played, cause I got tired of losing Dailies.
And I agree with what you said about the minimum amount of Stars for Granderson. I made the comment that Ichiro's last year gave around 52.
Bad thing, I've spent the better part of the last few days trying to get Vouchers for MTO, via the Showdowns (probably at least 15 attempts).
That time couldve been spent on actual MTO play, and I could have about 20-30 more stars.

Im at 450 with only the legend and prospect collections left to do did all 3 conquests 1st inning showdown the whole 9 and unless they throw a heck of a lot of moments 1k seems unattainable as of right now

Dude most people don't play enough to get 1000 stars. It's not meant for everyone to attain. Once i get to 300 im happy that i can sell that card for some stubs unless its a monster card.

I sit at 170 stars. I should hit 200 by the weekend. I can always come back and finish off the 300 stars latter by completing collections though.

I don't believe there any collections that give stars.

Well to earn stars for the player programs that's assuming you do all of them 100%, it’s not like last year where could earn stars from doing moments. This year it’s basically you do everything or you get nothing. At least moments last year if there were 20 moments and 10 were hard and 10 were easy you could do those easy 10 and still get some stars. This year if there are 10 moments, unless you do all 10 you get jack so it's much harder.

I meen the collect all prospects which i believe gives 1st inning stars. I could be wrong.
