So just finished a BR game and this is the first time I’ve seen this, a new type of freeze off.
Opponent switches his pitcher so I go into the quick menu to bring in a pinch hitter. I get stuck on that screen but I can hear the game in the background, my opponent is still playing! I saw the ball and strike counts go up with every pitch. He ended up pausing the game and I was able to get back to playing.
Has anyone seen this happen? Don’t know if it matters but it wasn’t a cross play game either it was Xbox vs Xbox.

I just started playing DD after being told I don't understand it's point in the game. For those who told me I was wrong I have only scratched the surface, and it's definitely not what I expected, so I probably am wrong from what I see.
Anyway, my question is I keep seeing the term "BR Game" a lot and don't know what it means.

Battle royale game, its a draft style mode in DD

BR stands for Beyond Random.
