This XP cap is pure BS. I'm trying to grind out the inning program so I did the Shark map to get Miggy as well. Now I'm playing the Nats on All Star to get Zimmerman. I've already hit my cap for the day. So I can't make any progress for the new innings program tonight through actually playing games. It was all of 3 hours of play.
This is utter nonsense.Also, the XP you got for collecting Miggy should've be counted towards the cap. If it is being counted, then that's an error on SDS's part.
It wasn't. It was from the 8-9 conquest games I played on the shark map and 5 innings of a Play vs CPU on All-Star.
It seems they haven't turned double XP off but you have a regular XP cap. Thats an issue for sure, but you aren't getting that much XP for those games when double XP is not turned on
It's just an unnecessary restriction that punishes people who don't exploit the game. They basically said, "We don't know how to stop the exploits so let's punish the entire game playing base."
XP exploits have been in this game since the beginning of DD. They usually patch every single one, but more and more continue to pop up. An XP cap works as a catch all instead of wasting resources on patching 40 XP exploits. If they implemented this at the start of the season, like they did in 19 and 20, we wouldn't see a single word about this by the community

Then they should have implemented it at the beginning of the year and not this late in the cycle. And then to compound matters they do it on a double XP day when one program is ending and another starting. So anything I do tonight within gameplay does nothing for the new innings program.

Well. As pissed as I was I made it to 650K with 5 minutes to spare and packed Trout.

Just reduce xp from play now (which is primarily where the problem was) and potentially a slight nerf to xp in RTTS to keep in in line with conquest on an xp/hour basis. It’s not really hard and the blanket approach was entirely unnecessary.
And how does that not affect legitimate players who use those two modes?
Or is it simply a better solution because you don't play those modes?
First, I do play RTTS.
It’s a better solution because it simply brings those modes xp/hour in line with actually playing DD (using conquest as a baseline). The problem right now is those modes are exploited because they earn far more xp in the same amount of time as playing DD.

This is utter nonsense.Two hours in and already hit cap… I got a late start and am just now doing the 6th inning conquest map. I’ll be done with the map in a couple hours and anticipate being capped out then.

What this is doing more than anything is dictating when you have to play the game now. Most people have days during the week when they can grind out the game. Now you have to come on everyday or fall behind. Ban the people that are hurting the community not the people keeping it alive. This game has evolved and become really good game. Content has been great. But this happening now really bothers for a game i play exclusively for months.

(I kid I kid)LOL the things I could have accomplished with the extra 5 minutes.
Squeaky wheel gets the grease I guess. I'll have to publicly complain more often around the 650K mark.
