I did i finally finished it. 15-18... immediately sold Rookie Betances... he just always gets smoked, events, RS, cpu, whatever mode.
2-8 5.15 era 5-8 saves, 11 HR allowed 30 inning. RHB: .338 LHB: .155

Why would you keep using him if he is getting smoked? Betances sounds pretty clearly like the reason you were losing

I literally only used 3 cards out of the bullpen for the event. LS Pat Neshek, Gold Johnny Venters, and only once or twice Robb Nenn. Went 15-4 with one run being 12-1.

The best relievers for me in the event were Nen, Cecil, Giles, and Venters. Didn’t really use many others, but each time I tried Betances he got hit. Just not enough pitch variety.
The current event was all over the place for me. I think I started 4-0, then I hit a rough patch where I had 2-3 consecutive entries without a single win. Didn’t strike out much, just couldn’t get many hits to land. I had Cy Young and some other high level starter who kept getting smoked in those runs too which didn’t help. I was actually below .500 in the event which never happens for me.
Then in my most recent entry I swapped in Lefty Grove for Cy Young and Pineda for whoever that other guy was and went 12-0 with only one or two games that were close enough that I thought I may lose.
My winning lineup was:
C- Ivan Rodriquez
1B - Lou Gehrig
2B - Brian Dozier
SS - Adalberto Mondesi
3B - Yoan Moncada
LF- Ted Williams
CF - Trea Turner
RF- Jim EdmondsBench was LS Pederson, LS Solar, Cobb, Gwynn, and Pence.

I mowed players down with Dellin: probably a combination of bad luck, uncomfortability with the pitcher, and the game hating all of us.

My winning lineup was Pudge, McGriff, Dozier, Hornsby, Minoso, Puig, Edmonds and Gwynn. Went 15-4.

I have avoided Events all year, but for this one I was done within the first 4 days.
