Gold Prospects market prices

So, I get why the prices tanked for the "West" prospects (free packs in the Shark map). But why in the world did the other prospects' prices jump to 8/9/10k?
I'm certainly not complaining. I play the USA map to earn XP's, and it's great to get 30-40k in stubs for the other division packs. Plus, it has mixed up the way I play it. I almost always shoot to the west from my starting point and work through the west divisions first. But... I'll have to mix it up next time and work clockwise.
Anyway... to the economists out there... what gives?

Could be increased demand for the central/east because there might be more people trying for the prospects collection now that part of it is free? That’s my best guess.

Here is my hypothesis as I too noticed this yesterday. The crash of the 10 western prices made more people want to now finish this collection. Thus, there was an uptick in demand for Central/East as teams bought to complete collections.
Because there was no new supply for Central/East, prices rose but this is assuredly a very short term phenomenon as now more people will work to do the USA but then also SDS will likely be dropping Central/East packs soon.

Me neither. I actually bought a ton of West prospects at Quick sell value just in case.

To be fair, you never need to use actual money. Flipping 100k in an hour or so is nothing on here. I suggest spending a lil time here and there on your phone working the market and you will never need to buy them again. This company doesn't do enough to deserve your extra money.

Yesterday afternoon I was getting the prospects for 3500. 3 hours later when I was trying to finish Mookie collection, they were twice that with competitive active bidders. I finally just said F it and bought a couple for 8k.

Some of us would rather play the game for an hour than flip cards for an hour. I used to flip the first few seasons I had the game then realized I could have more fun playing and do just fine getting all the cards I wanted as well. No knock on people who enjoy flipping though. Everyone enjoys different things.

I just do it in my spare time. I don't get alot of time to play so make up for it by flipping for 10-15 min here and there while offline.

With the companion app I’ve flipped for 250k in the last two days with absolute minimum effort. Then when I turn the game on I can just focus on that
