Is thst necessary to be like that? Not everyone wants to play online. Not everyone is good online. Some people struggle at one thing while u might struggle against something else. No need to be a d$$k about it. You could've just read it and kept it moving. We all get older but we don't all grow up.
So what's showdown then? Last time I checked it's offline play, right?
I just don't get why you're so butthurt that all you get is a 99 overall pitcher, and for a little more effort you get a FREE 99 overall outfielder. I ESPECIALLY don't get the dismay when clearly you spend most of your time running up the score against the computer against the CPU on low difficulties.
This is peak participation award mentality.

Why does it bother you how offline people like to play? It’s not as though we are going online to ruin your fun even though SDS keeps trying to push offline players online. Not everyone is overly competitive and cares about beating another person in a video game. I want to relax, play with my favorite players, and collect cards. Showdown is nothing but frustration to some people. Nothing like playing for 20+ minutes just to get nothing and being told by online players to “get gud”.

I never play events. But I played 7 event games just to get the 5 wins
You’re basically getting a Mike Trout for your CF. He is probably a 150k stubs player for free.
All you’ve got to do is grind a bit. Moments don’t take as long as 5 event wins or showdowns or Conquest.
I think it’s fair. Took 3-4 hours to get him. Gave me loads of stubs packs and XP on the way and gives me something to do which wasn’t RS.
I’m sorry but the fact they added the moments is moot. They gave us a free 99 Anderson only what 2 days ago? And that took maybe 20 minutes?
Don’t do it if you don’t want it. You can complain about the game.
But to me. The content (other than the ridiculous price of Mookie) has been out of this world.

It's also slightly absurd to expect SDS to make the card available without at least one small challenge.
Do you not see in the greater context it is absurd to get upset about not being able to complete this program line, when you still have been able to get all of the MA, Topps Now, Evolution, Daily Moment, Team Affinity, and Player program rewards for grinding out low difficulty missions, and running up stats on the CPU on rookie?
Do you not see that you've already gotten a FREE 99 overall Felix Hernandez?
Do you not realize all you do is run up the score against the CPU and you don't even need the card to be more competitive anyways?
So what is it that has you so upset? Seems like you want the card, feel like everyone should get it (hence the participation award comment) with zero effort required.

Online players complain all the time about programs and the game but when offline players have issues with it, online players don’t hesitate to jump on them about it. Again, why does it matter how we play? Whether I play the CPU and win by one or a hundred. It has no bearing on your gameplay whatsoever. A challenge? Again, it’s a video game. Not everyone treats it like a job and cares about being the greatest. Finally, a participation trophy? ITS. A. GAME. Get over yourself. We just like a variety of ways to complete it and have as much of a right to complain as you do. This might sound crazy but I don’t mind grinds. It allows me to use different players rather than the same ones over and over again.

It is a flex, and it is a way to jump in a thread and essentially say "Ha Ha, you are awful at the game. I am better than you" without actually using those words. And yes, I equate that to immaturity regardless of the posters actual age.
