But they can’t use them until 5 years after retirement. That’s why Ichiro isn’t in here as well. It’s a licensing issue. Beltran will likely be in 2023, David Wright 2024 etc etc

Do you not understand how this works. Once a player retires the players control their NIL rights. If they don’t relinquish those rights MLBTS can’t use them in the game. There are a ton of threads that explain this exact same scenario. It’s not like SDS is biased against the Mets.

This isnt correct either, there is no timeframe for a former player to be used as a legend in the game. The time the game chooses to use is based on the ability to negotiate a fee with said player. If it take 5 years it takes 5 years. If it takes 2 years it takes 2 years. Heck Chipper Jones was in the game the year after he retired.

Relax man I’m not saying they’re biased. I’m just saying it sucks when you look through these teams and they got stacked legends, would just like to see some more Mets that’s it.

I mean they put Glavine in a Mutts uniform horrinle for us Braves fans though the card is quite nice.
Mets actually got quite a few legends early on. They had the best Nolan Ryan Card 92 til his 99 was released, Gary Carters 91 Player Program is a Mutt, 92 Piazza, a 93 John Oleruds best card all these could have easily been other teams
A nice Familia card.
At release Glavine and Franco were 2 of the best in game.
I get ya though. Id love to have a Dwight Gooden and Strawberry

As a Braves fan I agree, also hate they made Justice as a Indian, he was my favorite player as kid. After the 91 season for Christmas I got a framed poster with Justice and Gant on it. It is probably still at my dad's, lol.
