I just sold all my headliner cards. Kept all the ws and event cards but I can see all the headkiner cards and hrd/asg cards being cut in half later tonight. We will see.

Anything in packs will be low, anything outside of packs like WS rewards and inning bosses have the potential to sky rocket even more now. Guys like Lofton and Piazza who were probably left out of the first collection lock in

Only ones I would buy is ASG or HRD. Spend your stubs buying cards instead!

It’s dumb in my opinion. The big collection reward shouldn’t be so easily attained. It defeats the purpose of preparing all year. The “everyone gets a trophy” mentality needs to take a seat

It’s probably going to be AS, HRD, Kitchen Sink & Space packs…. It’s going to be too easy to attain the collection reward. That’s an L in my opinion.

I think it will be like the 99 Trout last year. It took a lot of people a month or more to get him. I think it will be the same this go around unless way more people were well prepared. I've been flipping cards for 2 weeks in preparation for this and have 80% or better in each series. I also am holding on to about 100 cards hoping the prices go way up.

Casual players paid for the game as well. Everybody deserves a chance at using top tier cards.

I don't think it will be "easy" at all. For the average player in DD it may take months to get it, or they may not get it at all.

I think headliners, kitchen sink, AS, HR derby and live series. Probably in that order.

Couldn’t agree more. Don’t get me wrong. The people who’ve prepared all year should get it reasonably fast. But for those who chose not to then it should take them a lot longer. Flash sales will help those who haven’t prepared

Also, yes people will be buying packs up during the flash sale, it's not like everyone who buys a pack (depending on what the packs are) is going to pull constant diamonds. Most people are going to invest a lot of stubs in packs for nothing. Certain ones like the HRD packs and AS packs will drive the price down on those lower tier cards and the higher ones to an extent as well. What I'm curious about is how the market will react with let's say HRD cards being a collection today AND a flash sale pack. They kind of would balance each other out. People will be trying to buy up the cards instantly for the collection and on the other hand there will be an increase in the amount of cards being available. It's interesting.

Also, people are going to be selling off X card(s) for X cards that they need for the collection. Might have a lot of Signature series cards for example but need a lot of 2nd half cards for example - it would kind of balance out the market. Honestly, it's just really unpredictable how it will all play out.

This is also my assumption. Ohtani will be treated like Jackie.
The prices for top tier HRD/ASG cards will be minimally affected...might drop slightly. The lower tier cards will like plummet a bit more to original prices I think because they will be more likely to be pulled.
Its likely those that don't have Ohtani probably need more than 1 good pull to get him.

If that is the case, most people will still need AS and HRD cards to complete collection for Ohtani and in return collection for today. So, the demand for these cards will still be high. But I agree the prices will probably go down because supply will be higher.
