I had over 500 Glasgows back when he was a silver and sold them for around 500 each. Because I was new to the market and didn't know it was better the just wait.
Also bought a ton a kris bryant cards for 2000 then he got hurt for a couple days and his price never recovered.
The day Freddie Freeman went 90 I invested in 1 for 70k...won't do that again
Walsh. Didn't pay more than 2200 stubs for him but I'm sitting on like 125 haha
Bought Lindor early for close to 50k. Always liked his swing and wanted to finish the national league collection. Probably my biggest loss ever.

That said, I've won way more than I lost.
Vladdy Correa Peralta Glasnow Albies Ketel Marte Sterling Marte Rodon Lynn Wheeler Yuli Teoscar Bichette
And few I'm probably missing.
Hard to be salty about missing out on Walsh an and few others given the above

I must've bought him then, my bad. I just remember having the cars and assumed it was a pull. Regardless I sold him for 90k thinking I made a profit then.
Bought Stanton for 110k 2 days later he fell to 85k
I bought 50 Carlos rodons when he was bronze for about 80 stubs ea and sold them when he went silver instead of waiting til he was diamond

This is why I strongly encourage patience (in Glasnow's case) and studying advanced statistics such as wOBA, OPS+, ERA+, FIP, and cross-checking splits and per-9s in relation to a player's in-game ratings and career numbers.
I do have a few players who I've stubbornly clung to this year (Yoan Moncada, Carson Kelly, Dylan Cease, Johnathan India, Mark Canha, Willy Adames, etc.) although my patience finally worked out with Michael Kopech and Mitch Haniger.
