Event - contact swing

Lol ok I don't play event games much. But I just played it. So people just hit contact swing and they get hits and homeruns.
Full plate coverage? And normal swings are weak [censored] hits?

This is the most tired efffing argument. This contact swing nonsense is just stupid. There are so many other things worth bitching about. If contact swing is so OP then common sense would say use it. Instead you waste our time and your time crying about it.

i guess you like playing all star where there is no skill involved

It felt nerfed to me recently but maybe that's subjective. I'll contact swing with two strikes and when I made contact it either seemed to be a line drive or long fly out. This is a small sample size so we could totally still be seeing 450 foot contact swing bombs but this was my experience.

This is exactly my experience. On my 2-strike contact swings before the patch, everything felt solid. In this event, they definitely feel nerfed to me. Plus, almost all of my games in this event are low-scoring affairs.
Your mileage may vary.

This event I have center PCI with green timing on 100+ Power hitters and the result is mostly routine fly balls. Maybe I should try contact and they will turn into bloops?
