i enjoy HOF as well..legend is way too hard
all star it's too many foul balls and hits that you are like WTFonly time i don't like HOF is seeing Degrom and cabrera every time
Yes Legend is awful lol but I’ve actually gotten used to Cabrera. Still struggle with Righties against him but i only have 3 in my lineup the rest are L or S.

When the connections/servers are working good (which seems to be around 25%), HOF is the most fun rank. Once I get to around 850 and already made the WS, I will tank down to around 750 to stay in the HOF area. If the game is playing super bad or I need a bunch of wins for 40, I will go lower. Sometimes hitting on all star is a chore. Game is very inconsistent. I would prefer a game that is consistent and I could see how far I can get.
I understand that. I absolutely dread playing all star so much random things happen.

I enjoy hof against anyone with a good connection that doesn’t throw degrom or Cabrera lol
For me i only struggle righty righty obviously because of the sinker but i only have 3 righties in the lineup so i do pretty well with lefties and switch hitters against Cabrera. Still not easy but easier

I think “pitching disrespectfully”, in the way Brev uses it, is throwing right down the [censored] when you are taking pitches, trying to work the count, for example. It could also mean spamming offspeed in the dirt.
By contrast, I’d say “pitching respectfully” would be trying to hit your spots, changing speeds, etc, respecting your opponent’s ability to hit.

I throw the majority of my pitches in the zone, but if my opponent is swinging wildly on every 0-0, 1-0, or 2-0 count and I pick up on that, then why should I continue to throw it in the zone? That would be a poor strategy. The whole point of pitching is to get your opponent out, and you do that by throwing something they don't expect or putting in a location they can't do anything with. When you're pitching, you're looking for their strengths and weaknesses. If my opponent is able to turn on a couple of fastballs up and in, then it would be foolish to continue to throw it up there. If my opponent can't hit a fastball up and in, it would be foolish NOT to throw it up there when you need an out. If my opponent is going to swing at every single pitch I throw, guess what? The pitches won't be in the zone anymore until they figure out how to take a pitch.
Sure, you can argue that spamming the same pitch over and over again is boring and unrealistic, but I would argue that it is up to the opponent to make you change your strategy. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". If they don't want the same pitch over and over again, they have to do something about that by making the pitcher pay.

Trust me, compared to Legend, HOF actually feels really fair. You can at least see a 102mph fastball. On Legend you have to swing as soon as the pitch leaves his hands. It's absurd.

I think I may have the record for K's in a game. I struck out 31 times in a 12 inning game. Due to lag, I've had trouble hitting 100 mph balls on all star. How much fun do you think legend and HOF is when there is a bad connection? Good news is that will never happen again or even come close because I'll just quit out.

Here's a thought: why not just leave Ranked Seasons on All Star all through World Series and then increase the difficulty level for those who want 10 or 20 card packs?
In fact, you can increase to HOF after reaching world series and incentivize ppl by adding guaranteed high diamonds for those who reach 1100 and 1200 rank points.

They need to expand HOF. Maybe make all star to 799. 800-1200 (maybe 1100) HOF. 1200+ legend
Definitely need better rewards at 1000, 1100, etc. 10 packs of common and bronze doesn't do anything.

Veteran 0-299, AS 300-699, HOF 700-999, Legend 1000+
I wouldn't be opposed to this but you have to remember the all star people make up the huge majority of players. Mine gives them from wherever you end veteran up to 799. HOF which I think is a favorite of a lot of CS and WS players then gets extended from 800-1100 or 1200. You also have to adjust the rewards for 1000+.

You can download a roster that has a pitcher with Cabrera’s delivery and pitches..I forget the name of it but look up ohchev on YouTube and he has a video on it

No, I warm up against whoever is the opposing pitcher for the team I am playing in conquest. Conquest on legend isn't always as hard as HOF online but at least it's something that you can make progress on and warm up at the same time.
If you have the time or don't care about your online rated record, you can also play an online game on legend settings with MLB teams which is much more effective than playing vs CPU
