Since I am a boomer/grandpa age in video gaming terms (early 30s), I don't play video games except for this one since I accidentally love baseball because I am a 90's kid living in Seattle. I am terrible at this game and I get so triggered when my good/good isn't a hit and that jabroni's early hit is a grand slam.

Unfortunately I watch the Mariners, those random lame contact hits happen in life and I understand that this is a "video game argument". The better player should win, but baseball plays like 50000 games a season. The better team does NOT win all the time.

I think SDS did a great job mimicking the game minus server issues and random glitches. This game has the potential to be super competitive with a lot of money on the line so I understand the argument of just rewarding the better player. It doesn't happen in real life, but should it be in MLB The Show 22? For those that only play BR like I do, one lame at bat can ruin the entire run 12-0 run.

This game is very enjoyable for me once we are realistic. Maybe SDS can make a version that turns down RNG to 0% for competitive play and crank up the difficulty even more because that is how hard it is to hit or pitch a baseball in real life.

The weather is so beautiful in the summer...if only we didn't have a AAAA team.

That is the big myth of Seattle, the weather is amazing and it really doesn't rain that much. Add those 9:45 PM sunsets in Aug while standing in Lookout Landing looking out at Elliot Bay are incredible and hard to find a better place in baseball! Been a rough 20 years, but the M's are playing well and they have some great young players.

Can’t believe people would choose to wear flannel in great weather.

All facts... the kids say "no cap" these days. I am learning.

I guess I should have rephrased, not a ton of good baseball weather outside of July-September

Nothing does beat those late sunsets on Alki Beach or Bainbridge though, I'll give you that!

I remember that Phineas & Ferb episode, "Meapless in Seattle" in which the gang goes there to look for a cuteness potion. Seattle is in heavy rain with ancient coffee cups in the ground 😆
