Large TV vs small tv VS monitor

I currently have a large TV set to game mode that I use. Ichwar that a monitor is better, but does anyone notice difference.

Input lag matters the most. I have a 55” TV with 6.7 ms input lag and it seems better than my monitor did.

All dependent on the TV. Check your input lag

My C7 OLED was 21ms, switched to my monitor which averages between 2.5 and 2.8 and wow did my hitting improve.

I would guess he is talking about refresh rate

Forgive my tech ignorance. How do you check your input lag on the tv? I have a 70inch on game mode and I seem to do better than my 40inch I had but didn't have game mode. However, if playing on a 24" monitor is better than I might look into that. I just love feeling like I am in the game with the 70" and going down to 24" makes me sad lol.

You could see if your tv is on this list.

I have the Samsung TU7000 70 inch on that list. 10.0-10.3ms depending on what my setting is. I'm guessing that is ok?
