RTTS failure.

Instead of forcing the "2 way" player at the very beginning of your career, it should be an option. Either position, pitcher or both and then you should be able to choose then if you prefer pitching more that fielding or vice versa. I usually have a separate fielding career and pitcher but when I try and do that this year all it does is change the already created player. Capping stats at 50 is maddening too. While the other game options seem to be really good, the RTTS seems all mixed up.

Well, I do see it as an option. I was asked to pitch 1 game at the beginning of the first year, after which I told them I just wanted to be a fielder. They still ask occasionally but I always just say no and have only pitched those initial 5 innings.
But RTTS is kind of a mess this year. I am not a huge fan of what we gave up (year to year saves) for what was added.

The type of option I'd rather see is something you have that you can decline before you start. We get to choose 8 different positions but no choice to turn down pitching other than declining it when you talk to the coach. That's not the case with the 2 way player until you start your career. The other problem at least I'm having is I was switched to a RF, same hitting arc, another bad idea, as a 1st baseman and never switched back. I'm a worse fielder on the team than the regular 1 and better fielder at 1st then the other but the game stuck me in RF and after another full season, 2nd, I'm still there. Seems more time is being spent on DD in my opinion and less each year on what made this game so great.

You no longer can have a secondary position, it will always be pitcher. I understand your point but I do not see it as an option.
