Ohtani's slider

Anyone else feel like his slider is kinda flat? It has 99 break but it floats pretty badly and the only thing that really makes this a decent slider is the fact that it's such a big drop off in velocity from his fastball.

Haven't faced him yet. I'm down here in all star facing legend pitch speeds. The lag is atrocious. Quit playing for now.
They matched me with one guy that got disconnected in the 4th. Good match making. Last 2 games feel like pitchers are throwing from 30 ft. Not a surprise I got a server error also before the 2nd game. That is usually a sign game is going to play very bad.

Which of the three versions of Ohtani cards are you referring to?

I think it’s because of his overhand delivery. It doesn’t seem to break as much as someone who’s delivery comes from the side

Meh, nothing else to spend stubbs on. Game gives you way too many stubbs if you have a brain.
I’m not even careful with my stubs and I had 1M when Ohtani was released. It is very easy to make stubs, you’re right

Yeah I can imagine most people with end game teams are loaded with stubs at this point in the year . That big collection should be right around the corner besides that and maybe a couple must get BR rewards (like bullpen arms maybe Chapman ,Wagner etc ) I don’t see us needing to spend a insane amount of stubs .

They should change Ohtani slider to a slurve to probably replicate the break on his slider. His slider is garbage as of right now.

I faced him in an event game. I didn’t think he was that hard to hit. Everyone should sell their HRD/ASG cards so I can pick them up cheap.

Yeah, I started spending recklessly and bought like every Flashback or Legend card in the game and I still had more than enough Stubs to get Ohtani done (and buy a spare 99 Freddy Peralta after I locked in Trey Mancini like an idiot) and that's coming from someone who doesn't make World Series and hasn't had a good pull since May.
