I used him a handfull of games RS and Events.Seems this card is very underwhelming compared to his Live series i dont get it..

I think he's a beast, granted I usually play offline with some online mixed in. I think he may seem to be "not as good" because more people have him and people are facing him more often. Just my two cents.

I like the 99 deGrom's bat, too. He's no Ohtani, but certainly seems like the next best hitting SP of all the 98/99's.

He's only good against players that can't hit 102

I wouldn’t gauge his performance by the event (or any AS level online play), if that’s your experience with him.
It’s been super easy to catch up with the cheesy stuff. Trout just hit a HR for me off a 100+ fastball at the top of the zone I know for a fact I was late on.

Shhh people don’t seem to understand that. They see outlier, they want to spam FBs. With DeGrom, have to treat his slider as his primary and work off that to keep players off balance.
Some people just don’t know how to pitch

I played my first game with him in an event. I hit which was a home run. 5 strikeouts through 2 innings. I liked him.

Mix the slider can’t get away with using fastballs only 90% of the time good players gonna crush that. I also think a lot of people have just faced Live series DeGrom a lot period there’s no mystery, if DeGrom had a sinker with outlier would be alot better fastballs aren’t as good . pitch tunneling very important with DeGrom Cbreb has a video on tips how to use him check it out on YouTube if you want
