Restarting RTTS
-
Anyone know how to restart your centerfield or any career with ratings low as if you never played a game before? I wanna start a Speedy CF over but I already have a rating of 77 and dont wanna play minors rated that high. This is for the Xbox S. I know Playstation you could but not sure about the XBOX?

On the PS its the square button instead of X button when hovering over the RTTS mode of the main menu.

I play on xbox and it only allows one created guy and my speedy CF is already 77, I want to start off like like i just started playing

I don’t think you can this year unfortunately. You’d probably have to start a new account. I don’t think SDS thought that through or they’re trying to filter out RTTS
-
I wonder if you can on playstation since its on that system every year, and its new to microsoft.

I don't know...all I know is that I've created a lot of them as I have been completing a lot of the ballplayer programs.

You can't start over fresh on PlayStation. It would be a good thing to have though. You can however just create a new loadout. It's not quite the same thing, but it's the best option I've seen so far.

You can have multiple RTTSs on PS5. I have like 3 of them and I'm not talking about Loadouts (I have like 5 of those)!
You hit the square button when hovering over RTTS in the main menu...click on "start new"...the ballplayer shows up...click on circle button...pick whichever roster you want...sit back and watch the intro...done!

I have a couple myself, I meant start over from scratch.

Could try uninstall game and saved data...reinstall...and when it comes up saying the ballplayer is different between local and network...select local.
-
you cannot
-
Yep, that’s something they probably didn’t take into account; just don’t use perks and all you ratings will be 50.
Haven’t played RTTS in 2-3 years, but I’d be PO if I still did with how they tied it up with DD without thinking of the impact on the base ratings for RTTS

Go to "Manage game and add-ons" after pressing start while hovering over MLB The Show on your xbox menu. Then delete the 1 GB reserved data, not your user profile data. When you load the game up again click the Joe Random on the bottom. Then select start a new career.

For whatever reason you cannot just make a new player, you are stuck with the one you made so even if you max out abilities you have to keep playing that one player
It is Ridiculous
